Chat CRM / Lead Management - NECESSARY
I think we can agree that a vast majority of us creating Skool groups are doing so as either a paid service or as a nurturing platform to then offer a paid service (or upgrade to a paid Skool membership). With that said - we are all using the chats strategically for lead gen and to get calls booked. Having a simple, built-in CRM or tagging feature would be brilliant for this platform. It could be as simple as being able to tag prospects with custom tags. For example, I'd like to mark folks to follow-up with, mark if they've booked a call, if we've shared a booking link with them already, etc. Who agrees?

@Robert Zinke Thank you for clarifying. How are you managing leads on Skool messaging?

Facebook Ads
Looking to chat with guys who are having success with lead gen ads. Saw someone who got 200+ requests. Setting it up right now!

Would love to know this as well! Planning on running Ads to Skool.
What would you do?
I found Skool a bit late. I started a FB page, which currently has 150 people. Then I offered a free course hosted on Youtube and then on Squarespace website so I could get the emails of the people signing up. Currently about 200, canโ€™t see the progress nor communicate much with them so itโ€™s a shame. I then built my advanced mentorship program on Skool and currently have 14 people in it. Cost $4250, seven separate courses and I ask my students to share the exercises in our Skool community. I understand I can have different access for different course for each student, but is it the same for the community sections? A better version of the free course is uploaded to my Skool and I could ask the people that registered for the free on my website to join us on Skool, potentially starting a very strong community. But would it compromise the cosy feel of the high paying students if they exercises will get exposed and I remove a community page just for them? Looking for advice. Thanks ๐Ÿ™

Hey @Patrycja Hannagan - welcome! First off - I don't think you are late to Skool. Many people are just now finding out about it. We just launched our course here about a month ago! As for your strategy - I don't think there is an issue with combining the free and paid content. We do the same thing, mainly to "advertise" the paid content in the course. Now, this can certainly backfire if the paid content is lackluster, so be sure the paid content looks appealing to those it is locked for with attractive lesson titles, lots of content, etc. Make sense?

@Patrycja Hannagan I don't believe so
270+ Members in ~3 weeks! Bye bye Facebook groups. ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿป
I just wanted to hop in here to acknowledge how exceptional this platform is compared to building on Facebook. (This, coming from someone who has built numerous 50k+ member pages on FB) We decided to test out Skool for our latest project The 10k Club, a group built around helping high ticket business owners go from $0 to $10k/mo+ online, 100% for free (no gimmicks, paywalls or hidden costs) Having the Classroom feature is absolutely game changing, and the educational side of this platform is what really shines through. Not only are we building an active an energetic community, but we are able to empower each and every member with the tools, systems and information needed to start taking action RIGHT AWAY. Then as a bonus, the gamification section of the platform is completely untapped, I can't wait to see what the Skool team makes possible using this system. Anyways, can't wait to grow our group to the next level over the next 12 months. Skool takeover imminent ๐Ÿš€

@Jaice de Celis Nice man! Just curious - what were some of the methods you used to grow FB groups that large? And do you see those same methods translate well to driving people to Skool?

@Jaice de Celis Would love to connect about this. Want to see how others grow their Skools!
Notification Filtering
It would be very very helpful if I could filter my notifications to only see comments or likes or follows maybe even a notification center would be useful as well because for those of us running our skool as a full on business we need a "CRM" style way of managing all of it Thank you @Sam Ovens !

Agree - the notifications I'm getting here are a bit much automatically. Every post or group I'm in, I have notifications from them on all activities.
