0 views on shorts? help!
hey guys, freakin out a lil, I'm getting 0 views on most of my shorts. Channel just launched, I saw a few others have had this problem and it seems random. Wondering if this is a glitch as YT not even giving it a chance and now a little freaked out of the shear amount I'm about to post. Any thoughts? Here's channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTJRGpO0CB-ZUVqxJ7Jjr4A

Youtube Algorithm might promote your videos in the first few days and after that you get into an incubation phase. This phase might last for a couple days or even weeks/months In this time you must upload high quality videos consistently, otherwise it will take you even longer to get out. Important is that your shorts are great quality, otherwise the algorithm will just downgrade your reach. There are a couple things you can do to make the short's as high quality as possible and get your message across... that's marketing ^^ Also the time at which you upload is important You also shouldn't upload them in a bulk, but have a few hours between them. YT generally takes pretty long to fully integrate you.

@Jordy van Bennekom Actually try to focus on the value that you bring to people. Usually people see something (a service or product etc.) as higher value when the price is adequate. Or rather they feel like not getting much value when the price is low, not matter how crazy the value you offer is. So your focus should be on bringing value/being valuable, the money will follow you. Also don't be afraid to show your expertise every now and then and give them some free value, this will massively increase their trust in you and they know to come to you when facing a problem of your area of expertise.
Are you garnering all the attention you want?
We all know that as Synthesizers our power lies in collecting information, breaking it down into the most important pieces and then creating content to share the insights with everyone else. One small thing I see most people struggling with however is this exact last step. The most important one to make it actually worth anything. Being a content creator. Now we all learn it eventually and we have all the resources to do so. It's just that usually you only learn this exact skill, creating content. It is valuable... but it's not all. The further you get in your journey the more you realize that while you have the knowledge and the perspectives to teach people what you've learned, there is still something lacking. Something that makes all the difference in becoming successful with Synthesizing. It has a lot to do with psychology... We already gained some psychological understanding through Andrew Kirby and other people who have posted on this, however it is not yet enough to fully tap into it. We have to understand that whatever we learn needs to be brought to the right people, not by random strikes of the universe, but by focusing exactly on the pain point/current state that our target avatar experiences. What we want is to offer something that builds a bridge between the pain/current state to the dream state, namely our product or solution. Some may know that. This alone already holds immense value. If I now add a simple sentence, please think about the meaning and what can be achieved with it first. "Selling is creating a journey with emotional attachment" - because reason alone is not enough to get people to make decisions that are best for them. I touched on that in some previous discussion already. If there is something you offer, no matter at what price, creating an emotional attachment in the prospect makes it all the more likely that the prospect actually acts on it and sticks with it. This becomes especially important when thinking about Opt-In pages, Landing pages, product descriptions, Newsletter emails, shorts, Video scripts, etc.

@Griffin A. Hamilton Best one I can recommend is "Take their money" by Kyle Milligan But that only gives you the basic outlines, you still need to do the work to be able to gain anything from it.
Crazy Video Ideas
I want to start filming shorts on a content topic and I want to brainstorm how to make the viewers say «what the hell is going on?» Some of the variables which contribute to the effect: 1. Place: casino, rooftop, deserted island, Siberian forest 2. Outfit: suit, Hawaii shirt, half-naked, fireman costume 3. Action: riding a motorbike, diving, cooking, walking the dog What some of the other things I need to consider to make it fun and engaging? How you can expand on the list I've provided? @Owen Sheasby, @Corey Bennett Boardman, @Griffin A. Hamilton, @Allan R. your further ideas will be highly appreciated

Sounds like the idea behind fightclub to me But can surely become great because even if you watch it once you won't be able to figure it out -> high rewatchability
Brick & Mortar to Online. Advice?
I've built my gym to 35-40k consistent monthly revenue (not profit). In 2023 my goal is to build an online fitness, nutrition and mindset coaching program for more freedom and better margins. What advice would you give to someone starting out with online coaching? What foundations should we lay first and what should we avoid?

Go slowly but steady, first offer supplementary information like (extreme example) utilisation of Taurine (improving ATP turnover, so energy can be produced faster), Spirulina (increasing time to fatigue) and electrolytes (improved nerve signalling and endurance) for higher workout efficiency. Then go over to main topics like the different ways to train muscles (Stamina, Strength, Size, Speed/Explosive Power, Neurological training (train the nerve paths to the muscles -> from a country side road to a highway -> better nerve signals), Rehabilitation, Balance (focus on motor Units), Muscle and movement diversity, aesthetics, tendon training, intra- and intermuscular training, ... ) There again you can supplement the information by like how a muscle is working or build up in the first place. Then you can use all of this together and but it in different categories for different interests. Great thing with this approach, you don't have to have everything at once but can steadily improve the information density by going deeper and deeper every time. You can also utilize different courses that are intertwined ad yet focused on only their main element. This is how I would do it in your place. This perfectly combines both (gym and online) to get the most of whatever your customers are training for. You can also increase customer retention with this sort of approach and even use some sort story telling for higher engagement. Furthermore it will be much easier to upsell people with that. Feel free to contact me if any questions occur.
