Hi All, I know this group is knowledgeable on the subject of DCA's but I was going through paperwork and came across a letter I received from Lowell, which is an alleged loan debt that was passed to them from Lloyds Banking Group for £16,878.47, I agreed a payment plan with them as I want to deal with these leeches one at a time, I couldn't deal with multiple court cases, still waiting for a court date with Link Financial, anyway I set up at the minimum amount possible £50 per month, this obviously frustrates them, as it will likely never get fully paid, the letter attached is offering me a 70% discount on the alleged amount owed, so if as they claim the bought the £16,878.47 debt, why would they be prepared to allow me to pay £5063.47 to clear the alleged debt, what business would ever offer something where they would lose £11,815.00 this just proves they do not buy a debt for the actual amount, it's all a con

Hi Everyone, Happy New Year to You All. I would like to know that how can we file a counter claim on the claim sent by DCA through CNBC for a specific amount. Do we have to file the counter claim for specific amount as well? And if more or less, then any proportionate amount to their claim? If anyone knows or gone through this stage, please share the experience. Regards

Lucky me, I have PRA Grp after me for my Lloyds CC, I also have Wescott and Moorcroft for 2 others. My partner went to court 3 weeks ago with PRA but they never showed even though they were the claimant and had done everything as if they would. Need to follow up next steps to get rid of them for good and credit score set straight. Just wondered if you know why Llloyds are saying it is sold to PRA Grp Portfolios but they are instructing PRA Grp to manage the account, what is the reasoning?? Last time PRA switched to PRA Portfolios midway and were trying to pass that paperwork off as the deed in their bundle.

Recently won a claim via settlement agreement...without going into too many details this was agianst a large corperation and resulted in a few thousand £ and avoided court. Important points - Pre action protocol was followed two LBAs were served prior to issuimg a claim, they ignored them both. This is a personal approach, but I want hasty in issuimg a claim, and I think this demonstrates you are equitable and this would be seen favourably if it goes all the way to court. This was a win for sure and the first GDPR win via a court/mcil claim route. This was due to my own learning and understnding of gdpr/sar, filling correctly, pre action protocols and tight paperwork that meant I was able to checmate them and see through their indeffencable defence ♟️💪🏻. This was also due to Peters and Dimebars dedication to knowledge sharing and establishing this group along with others that bring all the resourses available in CMTM, and a massive thanks to Peter and Dimebar and the group as a whole for assisting and sharing knowledge which means wins lime this are possible with the right grounding and attitude...we win or we learn....big thanks and appreciateion 💪🏻♟️🤝🏻

Huge thank you to @Peter Wilson for the help needed to fight these parasites 🙏 Well yesterday was the final hearing on my Barclays debt which pra group bought my personal information. I was lucky to have pra help my case by not adhering to a court order of supplying the deed of assignment they said previously they had They were supposed to send a copy to myself by the 26th nov but nothing turned up They tried to give me a copy just before the hearing which I basically told her to shove it where the sun doesn’t shine. Regret that now as I wish I’d of seen all the bullshit they put together which the judge noticed didn’t even have my name on any of it just an amount and an account number amongst quite a few pages basically telling the judge to join all the dots ! He turned to me and said it looks like you’re going to have an easy afternoon mr sibson which made my day ! Peter had fantastically put together a fee schedule which pra solicitor challenged but the judge added another days rate to it and increased it from £325 to £410 costs, she tried to ask for 28 days to pay which he actually laughed at and said no you have 14 days to pay him so a great win. I held the door for her on the way out and said lovely to meet you which I’m pretty sure she knew I was taking the piss !! Stand up and fight everyone, it’s not an easy ride but you have to do it !
