Morning Motivation ☀️
With the fact we are soon going to be saying goodbye to this community I thought I'd create a visual of how much has gone and how much left to go so I can keep chipping away at it and reminding myself how much work I've already done sot ! Hoping this keeps me on my toes and looks forward to moving more marbles across this week !

Overdue Update
Hi All, Sorry for the lack of updates and interaction on my behalf. So here is my update following the last 1 month. So 4 weeks ago I went on my annual race trip with the lads. And let's just say all Clean rules went out the window. Beers, takeaways, meals, no exercise were the order of the day... and at the time I enjoyed it TBH... Then the following week (3 weeks ago) I felt like crap... and got it very difficult to get back into the swing of the good habits I formed and the old bad habits kicked in again. 2 weeks ago I was turning 50. I had a huge 50th (i like to celebrate these things) with 100 guests and it was brilliant... but it lasted a few days... and again the bad habits took over. 10 days ago, I had just had enough... I started again. A reset. And now I feel sooo much better. Signed up to a Local Personal Trainer. Back on the good habits... and how I know it feels different this time is... I went out for a night with the lads on Saturday but took it easy. Still enjoyed my night. Had used Marks Banking system so planned it right.... and then the following morning went to Gym and did a very difficult 1 hour kettle bell class and felt great afterwards. So guys to close.... For me the principles and habits that @Mark Bryce has given us in this group are invaluable. Mark has always said its Progress over Perfection. And to use a Rocky Quote... its not about how many times u get hit, its about getting back up again and keep going (something like that) I plan to do dry November and first week of December but even after that, I never want thosebad habits to come back, but remember that if they do, we know how to reset.

Sunday lunch
Who says sunday lunch can't be healthy . Our new lifestyle eating habits does'nt mean it has to be bland or boring. Today we've had roast pork, carrots, cavalo nero with pumpkin mash and gravy No fattening potatoes or yorkshire puddings. Good healthy food. Very delicious and filling.😋😋 Plenty of pork left for me to take as part of my protein snack box. And still have some for Monday'sT🤣🤣

Very yummy but nothing wrong with a fee potatoes and Yorkshires. In fact Yorkshires are a must if I have a roast I eould rather give up chocolate....or the rubbish chocolate I used to have. The 85% iv been getting from aldi is too sweet for me now 😍
Food prepping
Not been on for awhile. Didn't start the gut health as it was a bit too restrictive for me but I have implemented things from it. I would like to restart the clean 10 as coffee has become my life source again after starting HRT...progesterone is a mutha trucker!! Just about to look through the recipes and go food shopping. I'm not going to cut out meat this time as I'm OK with meat and I bought a chicken from the butchers yesterday 🤪🤪 But I'm going to oiley fish as a majority. To be honest...I started getting too small for the clothes I'd recently bought 😅 Hope everyone is great. Feel free to let me know where you're up to or say hi on the comments..iv missed you guys

Unpopular opinion: You don’t need a personal trainer.
You need a better grocery list. Most people think fat loss starts in the gym. It doesn’t. It starts in the trolley. You can’t out-train an unplanned lifestyle. I’ve seen it for years with business owners. They train 3 or 4 times a week. Push hard. Lift heavy. Then run on caffeine, grab what’s convenient and quick, and a broken sleep 5 hours a night. And then they wonder why the belly fat stays. Or why they’re not building muscle. If you’re training hard but not eating enough protein or sleeping well, your body doesn’t have what it needs to change. It’s like hiring the best builders in town but forgetting to buy the bricks. Trying to change your body without changing your habits is like driving to Scotland with the wrong postcode in the sat nav. You’re moving, just in the wrong direction. What actually works is structure. That’s what I build with my clients. We start by looking at habits... What's coming up next week. What goes in the trolley. How often they eat out. How well they sleep. Then we build a system that fits their lifestyle, not the other way round. 🤓 A study from the American Journal of Preventive Medicine found that people who planned their meals were 15% more likely to maintain a healthy weight and spent less time and money on food overall. Because when your environment supports your goals, discipline becomes automatic. 💡Thrive365 Tip: Before your next shop, build your list around three pillars... protein, fibre, and colour. If it’s high in protein, full of plants, and looks like real food, it belongs in the trolley. If it’s beige, packaged, or “grab-and-go”, it’s probably holding you back. You don’t need more workouts. You need better structure. Because when your food, sleep and training finally work together, results stop feeling like effort and start feeling inevitable. Q. Where do you think your structure is breaking down right now. The kitchen, the pillow, or the gym?

Pillow and kitchen...think milk and eggs, kale, maybe broccoli are causing me painful problems. 2 hrs sleep last night 😴 💤 😴 💤

Fat, 45, tired and low. Don't drink or smoke. I have loads of time for the gym and cooking currently, but no motivation until I see pictures.
