“The Person In The Glass”
Around 40 years ago, as a younger man I remember this poem, it helped me to be true to myself. I hope you enjoyed it too ••• An inspirational poem written by Dale Wimbrow ••• * Please, Note; I have changed the word "Guy" to "Person" to be all inclusive. ***~*** When you get what you want in your struggle for self, And the world makes you King/Queen for a day, Then go to the mirror and look at yourself, And see what that person has to say. For it isn’t your Father, or Mother, or Wife, Who judgement upon you must pass. The person whose verdict counts most in your life Is the person staring back from the glass. He’s/She's the person to please, never mind all the rest, For he’s/she's with you clear up to the end, And you’ve passed your most dangerous, difficult test If the person in the glass is your friend. You may be like Jack Horner and “chisel” a plum, And think you’re a wonderful person, But the person in the glass says you’re only a bum If you can’t look him/her straight in the eye. You can fool the whole world down the pathway of years, And get pats on the back as you pass, But your final reward will be heartaches and tears If you’ve cheated the person in the glass. ***~*** My takeaway was to "Be HONEST with yourself" & "The TRUTH will set you FREE". With Sincere Contentpreneurship Love. Spike Ref: https://poetryace.com/the-guy-in-the-glass

@Sally How Awww Thanks Sally. Glad you enjoyed a special memory.
The 4 stages of business
This is important if you are doing business. Every person who is starting a business starts with a vision. It is the first thing. You hear influencers talk about the "big" thing and you get excited and think that you can make a whole lot of money from it. Then you try it out and actually discover that the "big" thing is not as easy and shiny as it seems. "The grass isn't greener." You discover problems. Problems that you have to solve. At first, you were excited but now you are a bit disappointed. But now it comes: The Valley of Disappointment. Now this is where it gets hard. You discover the problems and you now try to fix them. It is the most important part, the hardest part, and the part where most people stop. What do you do if you made 400 cold calls but didn't get a client? a.) "Hmm, cold calls are not effective; they don't work. Let's try something else. Cold emails seem so easy." The first person switches to something else, and that is a mistake because, guess what? You will get the same results from your cold emails. b.) Or you can do it the right way and push through the Valley of Disappointment. You fight, fight, fight. You cold call, cold call, cold call every day, again and again. This is hard and takes months to get out of it. (It took Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, 4 years to get out of it). So prepare for these times. They are not fun. They are hard. You will feel pain. No pain = No gain. So push, don't stop. And now this is where it gets shiny because this is where it gets funny. Success comes. You now made your cold calls and learned how to be confident, how to talk the right way, you discovered what people like and don't like. Now people will recognize you and they will like what you offer. Your cold calls will start to work now. You now make your money. You get to 10k per month and far beyond. You now started a successful business. Congrats 4 Stages: Vision Problems Valley of Disappointment Success These are the only 4 stages. Knowing them is good! Most of you are in stage 3, so keep going!!! Pain is good.

@Julian P I see you, I appreciate you.
Who are you going to partner up with?
One of the easiest ways to achieve prominence quickly is to partner with someone bigger than you. So, who can you partner with to promote your page, freebie or paid program? Who could you pay to promote your page, freebie or paid program? Who could you do a joint venture, collaboration with to promote your program? How much would you be willing to pay? Write a list of 100 people you could potentially collaborate with. Watch this Dream 100 Workshop I hosted and then listen to this Dream 100 Podcast for more insights on mastering the D100 method. One of the best uses for a partnership is in co-hosting a workshop together. I co-hosted a workshop a few times with @Nate Maris and his wife, and we crushed it! Even Sam Ovens (founder of Skool) partnered up with Alex Hormozi to promote Skool.

“TACOBUTT Baby” 👀 You are very inspiring Goose and the lessons learned are invaluable. Once again Goose your the Host with the most. I’m listening quite intently and asking myself what are the things l need to work on in a semi prioritised order. I think I will film an unscripted vlog to empty my crowded mind clearing the clouds and unfuk my mental health. That’s it for now. Thanks again for creating this amazing community. 🙏🏻
