I used to only sell high ticket (HT) using the classic Ad --> Webinar --> Call method. I was making $50,000 - $100,000/month, but I was stressed AF because of the huge fluctuations and never ending issues with ads. Then my ad account got shut down (yay!) so I tried an experiment and turned it into a low ticket, monthly recurring revenue (LT MRR) offer and blasted it to my email list which I had grown from the ads. With my new LT MRR offer, I was making A LOT less per month ($10,000/month) but I was actually happier because it was consistent. Gone were the days of feeling like every sale I made could be my last... with hundreds of people paying me monthly, I felt financially secure for the first time in my life. And then I discovered Skool... With Skool I learned how to get the best of both the LT MRR + the HT worlds... Now I'm making LT MRR + HT sales daily, and I'm bringing in $50,000+/month with no ads using a very simple flow that ANYONE can replicate if they wish. I've outlined everything you need to know in the video below. Hope this helps, Ted ❤️ P.S. If you want 1 on 1 help (at no charge) setting up your Skool community just like I've done, send me a DM here with the word "SKOOL" & I'll set yours up with you for free so it's fully optimized & set up just like mine. I've already helped 70+ people on Skool set up their communities, and I'd love to help set up yours, too! The catch? You just gotta use my affiliate link
currently, it is designed for 'same day events' ✅ PLEASE ASAP can these be upgraded to 'MULTI-DAY' Events. ✅ Also - can the button to make them VISUAL vs monthly calendar, be a choice option, set by the Admin. And make the button more obvious (in text version) to switch between the views. - as most will look at it on the phone - the visual I see as more important vs the monthly. ✅ - Also in the Visual version - it would be ideal if they were all on one page (scrolling version) with months displayed as you scroll down, vs as current - going to new page for each month. 🌟 5 Stars also if 2-3 Events can be FEATURED at the top. This will help as many of us have so many in a month on Zoom and some SPECIAL events are not obvious! Thank you kindly 🙏🏼 hopefully the Skool team @Sid Sahasrabuddhe @Sam Ovens find this useful
Skool Discovery is awesome because it can give you "free leads" if you set up your community correctly. For example: I just created this new bitcoin community and 50% of all our new members are joining from Skool Discovery. Here are 6 steps I took to make it happen (and how you can replicate what I've done): Step 1) I went on Skool Discovery and searched for popular keywords like "fruitarian", "veganism", "crypto", "testosterone", "skool", "bitcoin" etc. until I found the 1 keyword that had very little competition and 1 that I knew a lot about. Step 2) I created a new Skool community using my friends affiliate link so she'd get paid monthly and I immediately changed the URL to skool.com/bitcoin so that nobody else could take it. Note: If the URL you want is taken, be creative! If /bitcoin was taken I probably would have gone with /btc. Step 3) I filled the classroom AND community with educational content all about bitcoin. I created various classes that you can see in the attached photo below ⬇️ Step 4) I invited a handful of friends to join so it didn't look so empty. Step 5) I created this simple freebie funnel and promoted a "Playlist of my Favourite Bitcoin Videos" on social media. When people opted in to get the free playlist, my funnel said: "Congrats! You can either wait 5 minutes for it arrive in your inbox, or you can get it instantly inside my free Educational Bitcoin Community here." Most people didn't wanna wait 5 minutes... 😜 Step 6) People just find me on Skool Discovery now because they search for the keyword "Bitcoin" and I've optimized my group for discovery so I show up. One of my mandatory membership questions when people join is "How did you find this group?" and I can see that 50% of new members are saying "Skool Discovery." If you want 1 on 1 help setting up a "Discovery Optimized" community of your own just like I've done, send me a DM with the word SKOOL and I'll hop on zoom with you at no cost and set it up with you.
So within my upcoming paid subscription, there will be video demo examples. But I'm concerned that if I put them on YouTube, even if hidden, they will immediately get circulated for free. What are everyone else's Solutions for this? thanks 🙏🏼
Quick Question... for those Members 'pending'. (Firstly 95% of our member base will be new to 'Skool' so NOT already on the Platform.) Q. Let's say we message them as they haven't yet answered all the questions, or not a real profile pic etc. - when we msg them to get more info before letting them in - does that message get sent to them by email? - am worried that it is being sent to their skool account only and they aren't yet integrated into using it to respond. thank you 🙏🏼 @Sid Sahasrabuddhe
Any advice welcome. I have always hosted my groups on FB and got great engagement. I am finding engagement in my courses on SKOOL great.. (I love it and so do they) however engagement in the community on Skool is not great. I don't want to take them back to FB for better communication. Eg I get notififed when they tag me there, I only seem to get this when I login to Skool.... I can't tag everyone in the group at once and can only email them every 72 hours.... and can't go live (all methods I usually use to connect with them all and connect them with each other) How is everyone else successfully getting group engagement in their Skool Community- I would love to improve this. thanks so much- J
@Dom Thorpe gotcha - mine are for members only so I have a private/paid FB group and the videos are in there so only those with access (paid members) can view the replays.
Nearly 2 months in now and clearly it would be much better for us to have a paid members group. But I'm resisting so far until there are enough members in the main group. As I am worried that by segmenting them into two different groups already, we have less engagement in both. I wonder what other people have done, with a critical mass number of members before they segmented into paid members. I DO have a 'paid monthly' program, but I'm simply assigning them access to a certain classroom course within the same free group, to keep everyone together. Would love to hear what others have done while they are still growing.
LOVING this Platform and the HUGE potential. My one concern is putting in 100s of hours to building content and courses within the platform and then losing it overnight because of a technical glitch. So am wondering about how Secure the BACKUP process is AND... if there is a way to personally back up key 'Classroom' content? thanks Skool team! 🙏🏼 @Sid Sahasrabuddhe @Sam Ovens #backup #technical #backingup
I know about everyone else, but I like to do a lot of my writing either late at night or very early in the morning when it's still dark. And now, with the availability of having a screen in 🌚Dark Mode🌚 on so many devices, to take the pressure off the eye strain, it would be so helpful to have that ability to have dark mode, while writing here in Skool. 🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚
Hey guys, has anybody figured out a way to have less friction for Skool membership signups? I've attached a 60 second loom video below. There seems to be multiple steps. 1. Create membership 2. Verify account in email 3. Only then can I sign up Breakdown below ⬇️ https://www.loom.com/share/a156841a85e94015a59e359abd4d9369?sid=679c0dd7-a89e-451a-b7ab-07578b655442
I uploaded a few 1-3 min videos today (from the phone) NOT on youtube and all members complaining they have to download them first to view them. ❓ - Is this a BUG? (I know you can add a link to youtube or loom etc, but what about short videos uploaded directly?) thanks
Now you can use rich text editing to create course modules any way you like! Click here to see an example. (fastest way to understand the new feature). Now you can use the following: 1. Inline images 2. Headings 3. Bold, italics, strikethrough 4. Inline code and code blocks 5. Bulleted and numbered lists 6. Quote blocks 7. Links 8. Dividers 9. Description visibility Check out the example here, try it for yourself, and let us know what you think in the comments. Enjoy 🎉
yes - great! am hoping future updates will include Underline And.... the ability to position images and resize them in courses. thanks - such a wonderful platform!
I am bringing over some of my consulting clients that have paid me $12,000 into Skool. I don't want them to have to pay for anything since they have already paid a high ticket price for life time access. How do I invite them to join for free while having a pay wall for all new members going forward.
Hey Skool... buddies? I wanted to share how I'm using a free group funnel to move people to my paid community... using Skool of course! Now, I'm not the biggest fan of writing, I get bored fast.. so I'm mostly gonna bullet point this AND I made a Loom video here: https://www.loom.com/share/b56c806bd5444f91841893a88f68f4d3?sid=963c74d8-e876-4fe7-bf80-2a72c97cc124 Happy to answer whatever questions you like. Ok, so main things to know: - I run a company called AJ&Smart, we're a digital product studio and innovation training company (we help companies like Lego, Google, GE, Amex etc with their digital products) which also sells online courses (mainly to teach people how to Facilitate Workshops) - For the specific online course side of the business, we use Skool to funnel people from ads/youtube videos (example)/books and other activities into a Free Group called "Facilitator Club" - Facilitator Club is focussed on helping consultants in the product/innovation/tech space move from being people who have to execute tasks for their clients to just being involved in the strategic/up-front work like "ideation". We also have a lot of people from other industries in there too who just want to move toward strategy and away from execution. Here's the group: https://www.skool.com/facilitatorclub (Please only join if you think it might be relevant). - This free group is full of little things to keep people engaged, primarily using the Leaderboard system to help people "unlock" courses and resources. These actually help people to preview the quality of our paid stuff. - The free group acts as a "holding pattern" for people to move to our paid group which costs €6000 and now almost has 1000 members. - The free group isn't the only way people are getting into the paid group, but it's definitely been an amazing place to "warm people up" before moving them to the paid group.
@Mariah Coz great question 👀 and I notice this was Jun 26th Mariah. Wondering where you are since then on the thought process of this? My group is only a couple weeks old and THIS is the big question am asking too. 🙏🏼
