7 Easy Ways to Get More Audience Engagement in Your Group
There are so many things you can do to engage your audience, this is just a short list: 1) Write a daily post about your progress 2) Ask your members for their advice 3) Offer to help one new member each day, in a post 4) Do a weekly live training call 5 Do a weekly 5 day challenge right inside your group (just print, in your posts, not live on video) 6) Feature a "top member" each day of the week 7) Ask members for their hottest questions, get the other members to vote, and then answer the questions . . and this is just the tip of the iceberg any other experts want to weigh in here and add to this list? @Jade Jemma @Evelyn Weiss @Mariah Coz @Marisa Pell

Grow As You Go (the anti burnout approach)
Fighting creator burnout is one of my biggest barriers to posting consistent content across platforms: I’ve alleviated that 3-month fallout (and while making more unique pieces of content) this year by: - Choosing to scale later - It is too much to learn the ways of 10 different audiences/algorithms - I’ve just picked 2 to focus on and I’m more consistent than I’ve ever been - Focusing on what I can control - I do not control the engagement of others (not 100% control at least) - but I do control my own output of content that I feed to whatever platform I’m on - the goal is now to post/provide as opposed to receive likes, comments, subscribers, etc. - Viewing content as a skill and not a luck machine - it is something to improve at (and to fail at) like any other skill - It is not a reflection of my own personal value. Skills can be improved - luck cannot. Do you have any systems or tips for fighting creator burnout?

Love your approach! Taking breaks and exploring new things help me recharge. How about you? Any specific rituals to avoid burn out?

@Jake Enslin Thank you for sharing this. Lack of autonomy and purpose for you to strive for are the biggest drivers of burnout. Go deep to the roots and ask yourself what gives you true autonomy back, even if it's just something that you do on the side that helps you on your purpose.
You Make Money by Helping People
My 2nd foray into marketing 17 years ago ended up with 100,000 email subscribers and about 10% converted to sales But I didn't do it by "targeting my avatar" or by "optimizing sales pages" I did it by finding specific needs, creating free content that taught as if they paid, then made paid offers that simply taught more . . about 5% would buy a low ticket offer within days on my list about 10% joined a $97/month coaching program within 21 days But it's all about helping people I see so many questions here about "how do I get more sales" "how do I get started" and so on and my advice, as a 18 year veteran in this business (my first foray only lasted a short time, then I started my 2nd, 17 years ago) is to simply figure out: 👉Who do you want to help? 👉What problem do you want to help with? Then create free content like crazy helping people. Then have an upsell Skool group that gives MORE help with community + coaching and a % of the people you are helping for free, will join you and pay And instead of focusing on conversion rate and sales strategies - focus on radically increasing the # of people who interact with your FREE content and make your FREE content so great that when the 5% of buyers who are in any searching market buy from YOU when they are ready NOT because you have the best marketing the best sales page the best NLP - infused sales copy but they buy from YOU because you gave them the best FREE training when they needed it People buy based on trust, not words on a sales page Hope this helps!! @Sean Mize

Absolutely agree with your approach! How do you prioritize which specific needs to address first when creating your free content? Would love to hear your method for identifying the most impactful topics!🙂
Is my offer too broad?
Yo! I'm setting up a course to help people make the music they love. I'm wanting to help anyone , whethercomplete beginner or advanced. As long as I state depending on where people are at , the results will obviously be differnet in a time period where they put the same effort in ans also give resources for the beginners to catch up to the more advanced ones, that's ok isn't it? Guess it's just like this group? Thanks in advance!

I think it's great to hear that you're interested in creating a group with things you love. Maybe I have two small ideas for you. Take a look at who you want to target specifically and who you don't. Also, consider what exactly you want to offer to support these people so that the individuals you want to attract and connect with have a clear idea. It's also important to think about whether your community is a place where people can connect because that's the real purpose of a community.

@Bryan Diggle Always there for you ! ❤️
Hi, I'm new here. Just wanted to say hello and Happy Easter 🐰
🙌Hi guys, I'm super happy that I've definitely been accepted into this group. I'm brand new to School and actually come from the crypto field on Discord. I'll do my best to ensure we have a great exchange here! ❤️If anyone ever has a question about managing and engaging their community, feel free to ask me because that's what I've been doing on Discord for the past few years, with large communities. 🐰I wish you a happy Easter, spend the day with your loved ones, and don't spend too much time on Skool like me 🤣 Kind regards Seb
