Notified when student leaves community?
Will you be notified whenever a student leaves the community? I will be having my students pay a membership subscription via Stripe to get access and if someone leaves the community, I would assume they are cancelling their membership and would need to cancel their subscription on Stripes end. Or if someone has a workaround to where if a student cancels their subscription, Stripe can automatically cancel it for you. TYIA!

Are you processing the payment via Skool? If so, if they cancel from within Skool it should be taken care of for you and you will see in the "churrned" section. If you are selling with a third party cart and using Stripe, there currently isn't an Zapier to remove students in Skool, but you could send it to a spreadsheet and have an assistant manually go through it every morning to remove people.

@Krissy Walker It would have to be trigged from a Stripe cancellation, there isn't any Zaps for Skool that are for removing students.

πŸͺ Skool Esoteric Crisis?
Does anyone else find themselves on Skool instead of socials- especially in bed (when you should be sleeping), eagerly looking for other Skoolers to Skool with? Or simply waiting for the lighting of inspiration to strike suddenly? Because there is NO WHERE else you can find a community of SEVERELY likeminded weirdos seeking value and freedom for all??? And you wonder how you could have gone through life for SO LONG missing this integral element of digital communication that so WHOLESOMELY gives you, simultaneously, hope for your future and motivation to TAKE ACTION?? ….Yeah Me neither. Just asking for a friend.

I've actually removed FB and IG from my cell phone and haven't logged into to either on desktop in ages. I still use Twitter but most schedule out posts and scroll for a couple of minutes. The conversations just aren't there.

Facebook Groups? Where Does Everyone Stand With That?
So so far I have 8 clients paying me $100 p/w, a free community of around 180 people and just launched today a monthly membership Club for $97 p/m. I feel good about it. I still have a group of 5 people paying me $200 p/w and 6 at $400p/w ...I guess I am playing cautious and have those 2 small groups still inside Slack. I am sure the time will come when I migrate them all in here. I closed my Facebook Group, to be honest it was hard work, the attention span in there was like watching a desiccated pea shrink into thin air. So I have a serious question for you all. What is your intention with Facebook Groups (if you have one.) I would love to hear what everyone thinks about the future of Facebook Groups. Are you still using a FBG to get leads, and nurture? If you have also any statistics about the trends of FB Groups that would be awesome. I have noticed a lot of them are dead.

@Jade Jemma I'm cool with people getting a lay of the land, but if you are there for a few weeks and can't be bothered to even give a like or say or hi that just shows they aren't interested. But I found it difficult to tell who wasn't engaged, Skool stats make it super easy.

@Mark Mage I have found that as long as I post often, the emails directly from Skool prompt people to come to the community nearly every time I post. The app has been great for my people. It's on their phones. They can quickly log in, see what's happening, and then finish their day. The goal is not to keep them on the app, like it is with Facebook, it's to get them results quickly.
