Trouble Growing The Community
Hey guys! I posted last week about this same topic and I got a few good tips that I've applied, but I wanted to update the situation and ask for more tips. I'm having a really hard time getting my Instagram and TikTok followers to come to Skool and join my community. I have a combined following of about 500K, so you'd think it would be fairly easy, but it hasn't been... I've gone from 27 members after 2 weeks of mentioning it in a few lives, stories, emails (4000 subs) and captions, to now 45 after a little over a month. I've also been DMing IG followers, past clients, etc. which is how I doubled the numbers, but it's still not an impressive number after all this work. I think people are getting tired of jumping from platform to platform, and the promise of yet ANOTHER free course or community isn't as appealing as it used to be. Yes, I have a free course, and yes I have lead magnets. I don't know what else I can do to be honest... I've noticed a lot of communities here are owned by people with a small following everywhere else, so what did you guys do to get members? I'm open to ideas, but providing value in the group doesn't really have anything to do with it because if there are no members to view the content, it doesn't really matter what you're posting. I'm looking for specific, actionable improvements I can make to get followers off IG and TikTok and on Skool 🙏 I'm mostly looking for organic solutions, but I'd be open to paid as well if that'll be a way to get BIG numbers. Thanks in advance!
