I do feel that my arthritis symptoms will lessen as I get more practiced in Somatics and paying attention to how my body feels and how that changes with practice.

Somatics is coming up for me because I am trying to go from a mostly neutral, sometimes negative vibe in life to a more positive one. I have been faced with why I am not already positive most of the time. Growing up was tough and I didn't get it out along the way so I have a sack of trapped emotions to deal with. My husband processes things as he goes. So if it is a rough day I hear him dealing with stuff and I think "Wait, don't make me think negative". Just last night we sat in our truck for 3 hours waiting for a tow truck. It was cold. He kept saying things---like "Nothing goes right". He will be over it quickly. I hear that and normally it starts a loop of negative thinking. My mindset work is helping. I didn't go negative for long but every time he said stuff there was a minute or two of me thinking about it. I eventually pointed it out and he was a bit flummoxed.. He didn't think he was being negative and he doesn't want to get me going negative. I just reminded myself that it is a win because I didn't get stuck on negative I forgot to do any breathe work. Recounting this has already helped me. Thank you.
