Hi folks. I am brand new to the Painters Hub. I came upon Samuel Earp’s blog early in 2026. I was immediately captivated by his seascape paintings. Attached is my rendition of Sam’s “How-to-paint-a-dramatic-seascape-in-5-easy-steps”. I would appreciated some constructive feedback.

This is a tropical river in north east Australia in a locality called Mossman Gorge. I visited there in 2025 and loved the colours, the tropical foliage, and the granite rocks. This is a small gouache painting, my second attempt at painting this river.

This is an oil painting of the lake I live on in East Tennessee. I need help with my water reflection, but other than that, I’m pretty happy with it. Constructive criticism and/or advice is welcome. Reference photo included. Painting picture updated this is the final pass.
