This is an older painting. I have a tendency to get lost in details, and simplifying is something I still struggle with.

🎨 Do Your Paintings Look Flat? Here’s the 10-Minute Fix 👇
Hey Artists If your landscapes ever look flat, like they’re missing that sense of real distance, you’re not alone. Most artists try to fix it by adding more detail or doing a chalky glaze with titanium white, but that’s not the real problem. The issue is usually how you use tonal values and contrast, and once you fix that, everything changes. So I made a free 10-minute video that walks you through: 🎯 The simple 3-colour exercise that adds instant depth and realism 🎯 This exercise will help you quickly understand how to create atmospheric depth 🎯 How to make your paintings feel alive It’s short. It’s simple. And it works. 👇 Quick poll — be honest: Do your paintings ever feel a little flat? If you voted “Yes” or “Sometimes,” drop a comment that says “DEPTH” and I’ll send you the free video link right here in the group. Let’s make your next painting the one that stops people scrolling. 👊 Happy painting. Sam

🎨 Do Your Paintings Look Flat? Here’s the 10-Minute Fix 👇
Getting started again.
I set my brushes down for a while due to moving/ relocating, family health issues and of course work. I know iron sharpens iron. I am wanting to move onto YouTube more and thinking about starting a Skool community. But am 72 years young and have more time on my hand. I so enjoy watching great artists such as yourself, Michael James, Andrew Tishler, mark carder, Ken Davies, and many many more. So looking to improve. Thanks Charlie

Hello! Welcome to the Painters Hub. I'm Samuel, and I'm so glad you're here. 🎥 First: Watch my 10-minute Painters Hub tour (see video below 👇) See exactly how to navigate the community + discover which option is right for your painting journey THE TRUTH ABOUT LANDSCAPE PAINTING Most artists struggle because they jump straight to colour without understanding the foundations.
