It would be great to have the sets in bold font and the modules in regular font so it’s easy to tell the difference.

@Christina Westergaard Larsen 💯😂
I have 3 Skool groups. 1- Free Group: this is where people can join for free and learn how to trade futures. How I filled this group by promoting it through my social media platforms and now people are adding their friends and so on. This is a self service group. I use this group to promote my LTO algo they need to trade with. 2- LTO group. I sell an algo people need to trade. So when they purchase it they get added to this group. We offer live trading together and a private chat group via telegram (Skool needs a chatroom feature with live notifications) This group I start to help people replace their income and become full time traders. I hand pick people to join the next group. 3- The Mastermind: this group is all about harmony and accountability. We have a system that tracks daily trading and performance and we hold each other capable and accountable daily. This group is a very tight group. 100 people max. 30k a year to be a part of this group. The main thing is to create a place where people feel supported and valued. 💯

1st one there!
Hey everyone, Introducing Skool Kompanion - A Free Mobile App for Skool I’ve made a number of tools for Skool over the past few months such as Skool Directory or the Members Export Plugin. I believe in Skool the product and ecosystem, and am excited to see it grow. As with directory, this project was inspired by seeing numerous requests about a Mobile App. In response I’ve gone ahead and created Skool Kompanion. Skool Kompanion is a simple mobile app that allows you to access Skool as you would from a browser. It also gives you access to real-time push notifications for posts and comments at the tip of your fingers. Over the course of the last couple of weeks — I have found myself more engaged with Skool due to the way notifications keep me looped in. I think this mobile app with notifications will lead to higher engagement within your groups. I encourage everyone to try it for some time, and see how much of a difference it makes. I think it will be an essential tool in order to stay engaged and connected with your groups. At this time Skool Kompanion does not support Android, and notifications do not support chat. These are things I may look at in the future depending on support and feedback. So please try it, and let me know if you have feedback.

Hello Skool Community, I am helping a friend build a new Skool community for Chiropractors! We're excited to get this off the ground and help Chiropractors with continued business growth. We're in the early stages of building it out, but we're committed to creating a supportive and informative space for you to LEARN, NETWORK, and GROW. If you are a Chiro or know of any that are on Skool, head over to skool.com/chiro

Affiliate signup on Skool Community The Skool Affiliate program is one of the best. I’ve built a number of tools in order to be a better affiliate of Skool and to help continue to grow this amazing community. I noticed recently that when creating a group from here, Sam always gets the affiliate credit. I think this is slightly unfair to the affiliates of Skool who are getting users to signup. Skool Community is one of the best entry points for users to see the value of Skool as a whole, and as such I send a lot of traffic to this group. I believe this group should honor pre-existing affiliate codes for users who ultimately choose to signup from here. I don’t think it’s fair to punish affiliates who want to show their potential signups this group. Does anyone else agree? Affiliates, please let me know what you think.

I asked for this feature and they noted it.

@Kevin Lee if the admin invited them or joined Skool through their group then it would show that and they would get credit. It’s whoever invited them first get the credit like you said.
We're thinking of doing a sick Black Friday deal. The craziest Black Friday deal we've ever done. Interested? Give me a sick GIF in the comments below if you want a sick deal.

If you could wave a magic wand and add one feature to Skool, what would it be?

Wondering if there's been any thought behind allowing admin to create "badges" to assign members as they hit milestones in their student journey, for people who attend events, for when someone hits a first 'five figure month', or any sort of 'success metric' as determined by the people running the course/skool etc? Experimented with a few 'community' SAAS products and they either have "create one badge only" or don't have this sort of feature. Lot of cool ways one could add gamification to the learning process to help people 'stick' to the process of learning.

Badges are real great idea for recognition and awards. I am helping a sales company set their LMS up and this would be great.
My friend invited me to join her group on mighty networks and although they have an app, can go live in the group, and customize their group colors and what not. IT IS FULL WITH CLUTTER AND HARD TO NAVIGATE THROUGH. For a moment I thought I was on MySpace, Instagram, and TikTok all at the same time. 😵💫

I’m brand new to Skool. Joined yesterday and created my first group. I finished the Skool 101 tutorial, it appears that there are 3-other courses: Skool Secrets Skool Inner Circle Skool HQ I’ve searched for them but not seeing them. I’ll go watch the latest Office Hours recording, perhaps it’s explained in there? If anyone knows, let me know. Thank you. Peace

@Jane Casey Post cool enough stuff to get likes.
Just starting my first day in the platform. Having created a group in Facebook and seeing it grow to several thousand, I just felt it was out of control. I am looking forward to learning how to use Skool and engage with others on the platform. ps I am an online cycling fitness and performance coach 🚴😍

@Malorie Tadimi that’s how I interpreted it. He shared a story of someone teaching guitar lessons and building a community in Skool to help people learn how to play the guitar. So coaches, teachers, instructors, tutors, consultants, etc.

What do you use for Live streaming in Skool? We use Zoom for our calls but feels overkill for live streaming. Would need something that would also allow us to live stream recordings.

Currently there are only 3 ways to get points on Skool... 1) You can make posts in the community and hope to get likes on your posts. 2) You can comment on posts and hope to get likes on your comments. 3) You can reply to to comments and hope to get likes on your replies. But what if you're an introvert or lone wolf who doesn't want to make posts, comment, or reply? Or what if you're just mega focused on course work and feel the community is a distraction/waste of time? Or what if a community is 'dead' and doesn't give you the likes you deserve? Or what if you don't speak English that well and suck at interacting w other people in english? How can you get points, level up and access new course material or the bonuses then? You can't. Or at least, not very well. Because you're relying soley on other people's approval and validation for your progress. And that's an issue. Because most of my membership materials & bonuses get unlocked as you level up... and I've already had several members in my community reach out to me and tell me they want to level up but don't want to make posts, comment, or reply just to get points. + I'm part of a Skool group with only 15 members, only 5 of which are active, so it makes it incredibly hard to get points & level up. So what's the solution? What if you could also get points by watching course material? Call em "Progress Points" Or what if you could also get +1 point each week just by remaining a member? Call em "Member Loyalty Points" Or what if you could also get points by completing a quiz? Call em "Quiz Completion Points" These are just some ideas. Happy to hear yours below.

Likes is a great feedback tool for me to know what content to keep creating and what content to stop. If your students can write you saying they want to level up but don't want to post then they are fully capable of posting and being a contributor to the "Village." They are just being lazy and want something for nothing. Don't give into them @Ted Carr

@Sid Sahasrabuddhe Can you guys on Skool side automatate all the code to the loom link bar?

@Iacopo Pelagatti lol…Did you also remove the comment and reactions on video settings?
In my opinion, it would it make more sense if Skool's 'Sets' were called 'Modules', and Skools current 'Modules' were called 'Lessons'?

@Sam Ovens I agree with the name change to courses because I plan to sell lots of other courses in that area.
They add complexity. And are redundant. @Sam Ovens I love Skool. ❤️ And for paid communities is a no-brainer. But having 2 communities 1 free, and another paid... It's just DOUBLE the work. DOUBLE the content to create. DOUBLE the moderation to do... 😮💨 My proposal: 🤩 FREEMIUM MEMBERSHIP community. 1. 🗣️ Community: Limited Public view of the 10 most recent posts (only members can participate). 2. 🤓 Classroom: Free demo course + (only members can access premium courses) 3. 🗓️ Calendar: (only members can participate) 4. 🤝Members: (only members can see and network) 5. 🏆Leaderboards: Level 1 public. Level 2 - 10 members (Level up to unlock content for higher retention and Live Time Value of a member for the community). Integrating the RECURRING payment functionality of monthly/yearly membership.🤑 I would love to be able to do this with Skool. Not needing to manage 2 groups, all-in-one is what we want. FREEMIUM MEMBERSHIPS. Fancy Fails, Simple Scales.

It’s not double the work. It doubles my income😉
I'm curious if anyone had a strategic through behind their decision to go with a public or private group? Please share insights into your thought process behind this. Additionally, does anyone know if this can be changed later?

Would the Skool creators be open to making the Skool road map public so we can all see what is on the map and give input.

@Nurlan Puchak it’s full of potential😉
So I'm planning on making a free coaching program where I offer a 1:1 action plan call to the all members as a lead magnet to then convert people onto a paid coaching program down the line. IS this a bad idea? I'm 100% aware that the process is more time consuming than just having an evergreen course people could watch.
