Report spammer
How do I report spammer and potential scammer? Claiming to help make $100 to $3500 is a scammer :)

@Wyatt Roderick Yeah it's quite annoying. Skool is the perfect place for spammers as they can go under the radar as far as I know.
Skool For Spammers!
I run 2 communities and am a member of about 5 more... We really need a way to control spam DM's Can't we have a simple button where people can't DM other members until they've made X number of posts? I've been in a new community for just over 3 hours and already been DM'd by someone. This is becomming a real problem as not a week goes by where I'm not having to deal with spam dm's to myself or other members of my community...

Real Talk
Hey guys, been on Skool a few months now. Moved my course over from Kajabi and drank the skool coolaid (placing my bets on Hermozi, TBG). A few months in and it's not going great. Below are two big observations. Do you see/feel these? Don't want to pull the plug so soon, but concerned I'm draining short term revenue for a long game that will never pain out. #1 - Almost EVERYTHING is about MRR. Service, transformation, helping people (all the things that generate long term growth) seem buried. So so so much talk about getting new customers and very little about engaging customers in a way that not only keeps them but actually helps them get what they came for. QUESTION: how are you going above and beyond for your people? How do you help them see results inside skool more than you did in your previous plaform? #2 - I don't like the SKOOL communities I'm in - The games are so much fluff. "Great job" "Cool stuff" is like 85% of the threads. The real value is in the live streams and the classroom, but TBH, I forget the classroom exists most of the time? I kinda wonder if my students are feeling the same: just seems like a chatter box of fluff?

I was literally just about to post about this. In this fast paced world, people want immediate results, and a monthly subscription feels like a high commitment and against our newly formed nature as humans where most of us seeks instant gratification. A lower monthly fee is not working out for me, it makes me work my ass of for people learning everything they can to then churn in the first month. So I'm 100% thinking of going back to a higher financial commitment initially to get access to the courses, and then a lower monthly fee to stay in the community to get access to zoom calls and my support. A "low" monthly fee attracts window shoppers that just want to have a quick look.
What I've observed from joining other Skools
Buying a Skool membership is like buying a video game. When you buy it, you have high expectations. You’ve seen the gameplay, read the back of the game, etc., and if the gameplay is not good, or if there’s not enough content in the game, it feels like a letdown. Don’t let this be your community. I've found that there needs to be a lot for the members to do. The course content needs to be appealing with captivating thumbnails. Also the courses should be things that unlock something in your member's journey. They should be the solution to their specific problems, which is why you have to know your members well. But beyond the courses, their should be things for the members to do daily. Weekly calls are good. Daily calls or multiple times per week are better. But beyond that, there should be "side quests" for your members. - Weekly challenges - Posting their goals for the day - Doing something specific and posting it to complete the challenge Obviously a highly engaged community will help, but if all there is to do is post/comment in the community, watch courses, and get on calls, it can get boring ): and this may lead to a high churn rate. That's why, by adding side missions and "tasks" for your members to complete, you'll make being in your community 10X more fun and rewarding because they are actually doing things in the real world. That's it. Just some observations I had while interacting with other communities. Hope it helps someone 🖤

@Josh Forth Yes I enjoy the calls to help for real, and to see members get better, smarter, and move forward. The problem with Skool is that it's so limited. I would like to have more zaps so I can post them things on a weekly schedule depending on when they joined. People joining 3 months ago are in a different stage than the new ones joining. Do you have any thoughts on how to automate it?

@Josh Forth I agree, I was more thinking of the tasks. It will be a pain to keep track of every member manually and post weekly tasks individually. But I see where you're going. Thanks!

Hey, My name is Josh Gavin. As per request, I'm here to share how I'm using a $27 offer to fill my Skool group with members who engage, collaborate and upsell into my $3k+ offers. To give you some history... I grew a Facebook group to 5200 members and collected $486,000 cash from it without running a single paid ad. But while I was doing this I noticed my homies over at Clients & Community had invented this new concept of running ads to a lead magnet which would then point to a free group. So after some time, this method became very popular which meant new problems appeared. But here I was... Growing just as fast as everyone else without running paid ads. So I decided to launch an LTO (low ticket offer) as a side mission to teach all these struggling group owners how to get new members without ads. I never planned on this becoming my main offer since I hated the thought of becoming another one of those 'coaches' who help 'coaches' with organic marketing lol But here I was with a method no one else was teaching... So I launched it! And just 30 days later I enrolled over 200 people at $27 + 40 people into a sass upsell. Using my V1 funnel here: https://www.organicgroupmethod.com/join Then I decided I wanted to take this more seriously and increase my AOV as I started learning more from the LTO God himself Alen Sultanic... So I added new upsells and launch V2 which you can find here: https://www.organicgroupmethod.com/offer Then in December, I launched V3 which you can find here: https://www.organicgroupmethod.com/launch But here’s where things get spicy… Although I believe Facebook is still better for a free group since you can get more attention to funnel people into sales conversation… I don’t like FB as a client portal for paid products…
