Feedback & Questions about the subscription feature of Skool
Hello, I just wanted to share my feedback about the new feature of skool : subscriptions Our current situation: We have a private free group for our members. They pay a fee to enroll in our program. They get access to our group by invitation. We give them access to the course manually. Our goal: to create a monthly subscription offer to all our members with multiple price ranges (maybe 3). Each price range will give them access to a certain content according to the price they pay monthly. We want to give them the possibility to upgrade or downgrade if they wish to depending on their needs. The current subscription feature on skool is missing all of this. In fact, this is what I understood when I tried to play with it: - eventhough there is a possibility to create multiple prices, you will need to set one price as the current price, so no price ranges available for our members. - For our new members they will have to choose one single price to enroll in our private group (so no way they can choose the formula they prefer the most) - For our existing members, if we create a subscription, they will need to get out from our group so that they can pay for the new susbcription we created (which is not good because we will have to ask them to do so much effort and maybe we will loose them that way) So my question for you @Sid Sahasrabuddhe @Sam Ovens is if there is in Skool's roadmap any upgrade to this feature in the near future that will allow us to : - create multiple price ranges and formulas inside one single group - people who are already in the group have the possibility to activate a subscription from their profile and choosing the formula they prefer autonomously (like all the saas are doing already (hubspot, zapier, wistia etc)) - once the payment didn't go through the person won't have access anymore to a certain content (classroom/course) and have to re-activate the susbcription once again - have rich metris to track the perfomance of each subscription product (formula/price range) like for example : Churn rate, Retention rate, Monthly recurring revenue, Customer lifetime value, Annual recurring revenue (arr) etc

We have the same, one community with multiple tiers / levels of support. Hoping Skool will offer multiple subscription amounts in one community very soon so we can keep it all under one roof

@Zahra Zemmouri hopefully it’ll be reconsidered as I see a lot of the coaching space into MRR models with multiple tiers

$1,000/month with the new Skool payments feature
I've been testing out the new Skool payments feature and it's awesome! I asked a few of my members to switch over to it and now I've got $1,000/month worth of MRR coming in on Skool! Attached is a screenshot showing you what that looks like 😊 To see exactly how I got my first 26 members to switch from Stripe to Skool, read this post. Btw, the 464 "Free" members you see are members who are either: A) Still paying me on Stripe (who I'll need to convert to Skool billing ASAP) or B) Using my Skool affiliate link to start and grow their own Skool community but who I don't charge because Skool pays me $39/month in the form of affiliate commissions for them. If you want to use Skool's new billing feature (it gets released on Monday!) to earn MRR, and you want 1 on 1 help to set it up properly on Zoom with me/my team, just send me a DM with the word SKOOL and on Monday we can hop on and set up your Skool community with this brand new feature 😊

@Ted Carr when you transferred people over to Skool, did you manually remove them from the skool group then they rejoin again using the new Skool payment feature? I've just began doing this and one of my members said "won't I lose all my points i've earned if I'm removed!"
Tracking members inviting members
I see that each member of a Skool group has a personal invite link - is there a way to track who invites who? Just thinking this would be a great way for referrals / affiliates...

Chat groups
Hey guys. Something I do in Slack with my clients (business owners), I create a group with my Clint and he's team. To send documents or give feedback. So that could be a great tool

Absolutely 👍 having this feature would remove any need for WhatsApp or slack groups. We do exactly the same and would love to house it all in Skool
