New challenge [Are you in??]
Hiii loves, I'm sure you've seen the viral lymphatic drainage moves everywhere on socials: the hops, arm swings, body waves. They're trending for a reason, cause they actually work. I've been doing these movements in the morning for months now without even calling them "lymphatic drainage moves" and I've seen such a great shift in how my body feels and looks. Your lymphatic system is basically your body's cleanup layer. When it's moving (literally, lymph relies on movement), everything else works better: - Hormones = better circulation means better hormone distribution and metabolism - Digestion = reduced bloating and inflammation - Skin = improved circulation and toxin clearance - Energy = less inflammation = less your body fighting itself - Cycle symptoms = reduced congestion, better blood flow, less cramping So this shouldn't just be just a trend, should be a practice!! So we're making it stick together! I have a proposal for us here: A 14-DAY CHALLENGE! ⏱️ 5 minutes to 10 minutes daily ✓ Do the exercises ✓ Post your thoughts, how you're feeling, what you're noticing ✓ Show up for 14 days ✓ I'll support you with insights into how your lymph is connected to your cycle and hormones For now, if this sounds like something you'd love to join, drop a comment: "I'm in!" so I know I can count on you. And I'll come back with details! Teo x

I'm VERY in! actually been looking into this lately and slowly started. So this comes at a perfect time! ♡
Let's talk about
Hey girls, I'm doing research about period education. I noticed that we are from all over the world, so I would like to know if when you got your first period someone took the time to explain the whole process of it or just gave you instructions about how the use a pad? I want to know if is something about my country or something cultural. Thanks

So I am from Denmark (34 y.) and we had sex ed, there was little bit about ovaries and: "here are some pads, for when you start bleeding." The changes of the body for both boys and girls. But honestly I remember it more as a class to safe sex (wild thing for a kid 6th or 7th grade to be educated on imo) the whole banana and condom routine. I think my mom had me excused, actually 😅

@Teodora Sabau I'm part of two communities, one I paid to enter, Mobility & Injury Prevention It shows in their set up too. The ones who run it engage with the community a lot, post new challenges, and a does QnA's along with other things. They made a poll the other day asking what we want from the page, including the users in building something that they'd wanna use more. As for the classes, they start you out as a complete beginner, and from there, there's an elaborate plan to follow you all the way to what you wanna achieve. They hold your hand through the process, along with all the other members who are very actively helping each other. It's from sick/injured, to old, to young, to athletes, to office mice, just gathering around the same purpose of feeling lost in your body, and cheering each other on, to fix those issues, along with offering advice. SO even though it's a workout platform, I think what you got here could have a similar base? Women learning how to navigate their bodies that no one ever taught them to understand. You know, a journey where we grow together, kinda thing. I think it would be really beneficial to make a classroom with different subjects (sorta like an enCYCLEopedia XD) so you could look up things that might be relevant, and it's all right there, categorized. Or maybe a way to start when you begin your journey to explore your cycle, sorta like 1. grade 2. grade etc. (or like moon phases or something to be clever?) In this course I'm talking about they have belts; so white belt yellow belt, and so on - when you unlock and master all these, you will be ready for black belts (it's not karate at all, but cool skills lain on the foundation of strengthening your body) These cost money though (lil pricy) which is why I looked around for free plans. (although I might start some of those belts cause I really like what I bought so far) This other group is kinda cool too, and free. It's a calisthenics athlete from Sweeden I think, who wants to make calisthenics, first of all; free to learn and second, digestible for real beginners (which is hard to find.) I haven't started the challenge yet, cause although it's free, you need some equipment that I don't yet have. But I really like how she set this up, because as you progress, you can unlock new workout courses as you become better, by engaging in the community and raising your level. So, easier courses are level 2, and the more you level up your own skills, the more you have to engage with the community to continue to progress. Once again, a way to make use of the concept of gamification while making comunity.

It's so grounding and calming 😌
Dealing with insulin resistance?
Hey loves, I'm curious, how many of you have dealt with or are currently dealing with insulin resistance or maybe have dealt in the past? If yes: What symptoms showed up for you? What actually worked to improve it? What didn't work (so we can skip the BS)? I'm gathering real experiences from real women because honestly, the textbook advice doesn't always match what actually happens in our bodies... Drop your story below. Let's learn from each other. I have hashimotos it affects mainly my metabolism, so I don't know if it counts, but bad metabolism also effect insulin resistance I believe. For me its daily exhaustion, and I used to be able to eat anything and still stay slim. Now, its a very difficult and strenuous task to keep my weight. The meds helped at first, but then they didn't so I started eating strict paleo with a protocol that claimed it could reverse my sickness -- and I got exstreemly sick. The only thing that has helped me drop kgs when the weight got bad for me is fasting. But sometimes that's hard to always keep up with 😅 Now n've cut out alcohol completely for a year, I try to eat healthy, and my new year resolution is no candy 🙃 When I lived in Turkey it was easier to keep my weight down, cause there was no candies I liked, but being back in Denmark all the candies are so good. 😅 so I am now cutting myself off, to see hopefully a huge improvement 😁 Honestly I've tried so many things, because doctors have been absolutely no help to in improving my condition. It's an ongoing journey.
Menstrual cycle hacks
I want to share some of my personal hacks for having a better period. Over the last four years, I’ve learned to truly listen to my body after dealing with extremely painful periods—cramps, vomiting, intense pain, and days when I could barely move. 1. water with electrolytes 2. cycle seeds 3.confort food and easy to digest 4. no sodas, no coffee, no gluten (there will be time for that). 5.walk at least 30 min per day, except for the 1-2 days of the period I normally do this 3 days before I get my period, but if you want to know more specific info drop a comment This info is base on my own body, my own research! I invite you to start your own journey ✨
