Meeting Other Like-minded Guys & Saving Money
I was coming up with some ideas for other young guys in this group to meet other like-minded guys and save money while on their personal development and entrepreneurial journey. If your someone who’s young and isn’t rich, and is on a small budget, you need to learn how to have fun without spending money or spending very little money while your on this personal development/entrepreneurial journey. You don’t necessarily need to be a loner while you’re on this personal development and entrepreneurial journey. Many times guys nowadays have this “lone wolf” mentality, and for the longest time, so did I. But networking and finding the right people to be around is important, and so is saving money, especially in our economy. Take some of that money that you save and invest in yourself. Here’s some ideas: -Find some cool like-minded guys in your local area that you meet through this forum, or social media, or in-person who are in MOA, or who are thinking of joining MOA, or just like-minded guys in general, and become roommates with them to save money on rent and utilities. Even guys like Stirling Cooper and Justin Waller, who are already rich, successful, and high-status are still living together as roommates. I remember they were talking about it before on YouTube. Just look up “stirling cooper wine night AMA” on YouTube and you should find videos with them. Stirling Cooper also has a good video about why finding like-minded guys and having a tribe is important - https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GIhJH6oopWo Even Michael Sartain has said that he has had roommates for the longest time and he’s also already rich, successful, and high-status. In this economy and the way the cost of living is right now, most young Americans are gonna need to find roommates for more cost-effective living. It is what it is. -Go to public parks and go shoot hoops, 🏀play football, 🏈or put on some boxing🥊 or MMA gloves and do some sparring or grappling with each other at the park or in a backyard to practice your fighting skills instead of spending money on expensive MMA gyms. I’ve done some sparring with some guys at public parks before, and no one really cares if you’re sparring. The park is free. Look up different videos for free on YouTube covering MMA, self-defense, practice drills, or other fighting techniques to practice with each other.

How to take pictures of girls
I am reading book Mr Playboy (Hugh Hefner's biography) and I found memo that Hefner wrote about playmates which, I think, can be useful when you try take pictures of girls to show value on Instagram profile: The Playmate should be posed in a natural setting, not the sterile surroundings of a studio. The model herself should look relaxed and natural. . . . Some simple activity like reading, writing, mixing a drink, trying on a new dress—the variations are endless—will add tremendously to the appeal. . . . Obviously the Playmates should be attractive in both face and figure, but more specifically, we like a healthy, intelligent American look—a young lady that looks like she might be a very efficient secretary or an undergrad at Vassar. We prefer fresh, new faces . . . a natural beauty.

Book about scarcity
I started reading scientific book Scarcity: why having too little means so much, about scarcity and I find it very insightful. Here is example We can measure fluid intelligence, a key resource that affects how we process information and make decisions. We can measure executive control, a key resource that affects how impulsively we behave. And we find that scarcity reduces all these components of bandwidth—it makes us less insightful, less forward-thinking, less controlled. And the effects are large. Being poor, for example, reduces a person’s cognitive capacity more than going one full night without sleep. It is not that the poor have less bandwidth as individuals. Rather, it is that the experience of poverty reduces anyone’s bandwidth.

Another pattern for scarcity is trade off mindset: "we did a survey of commuters in a train station in Boston. We asked them to list everything they think about when contemplating buying a TV. All the obvious candidates—the size of the TV, the screen resolution, and the fairness of the price—showed up. When we then divided our sample into lower- and higher-income groups, a pattern emerged. Only some people also reported trade-off thinking, volunteering such thoughts as, “What do I have to give up to buy it?” The people who asked themselves these questions were disproportionately poor. The poor reported trade-off thinking almost twice as often as the better off (75 percent vs. 40 percent). This was a striking difference, especially since the income cutoff we used was at best a crude proxy for scarcity. Some of those whom we classified as well off might well have been experiencing scarcity—for example, some were surely burdened by mortgage payments, credit card debt, college loans, or large families."

I finished book. In the context of social circle game the biggest take away for me is that being focused on results when you deal with volume and rejection, like in sales or dating, promotes scarcity mindset. Hence I plan to be more focused on generating leads instead of closing 😊
