How do you fight procrastination ?
Do you ever procrastinate? 😴 Procrastination, the scourge that prevents us from moving forward and generates stress, but can be effectively combated with simple, concrete facilitation techniques. 1 Set SMART objectives: Specific: precise and concrete. Measurable: quantifiable and assessable. Achievable: realistic and ambitious. Relevant: taking into account your resources and constraints. Time-based: setting a clear deadline. 2 Break tasks down into small steps: Break colossal projects down into more digestible, less daunting steps. 3 Prioritize and organize: Identify essential and urgent tasks, schedule them and stick to your agenda. 4 Eliminate distractions: Isolate yourself in a quiet environment and put your phone on silent mode. 5 Reward your progress: Celebrate each milestone to boost your motivation. 6 Focus on the here and now: Don't get lost in negative thoughts or "what ifs". 7 Forgive failures: Accept setbacks and start again with determination. What are your anti-procrastination tips? 😅

My headphones are my choice. Noise cancelling and sets me in the moment, then only use 1 screen. But it all comes back to defining my day with purpose, filling the calendar with forceful reminders and using an Apple MacBook app called "InYourFace", that puts up the reminder that forces me to focus. That being said this works for regimented tasks, anything creative is a brainwave I have to put after a nice walk...
Emergency Problem Solving Kits! For a Salesforce World Tour NYC
Hi folks, Just wanted to share something i'm doing for a Salesforce Conference to get more leads. Knowing my target market (System Integrators and SaaS companies - and how they are not susceptible to acting on ads), i'm going to tread the floor to engage. I wanted to give them a 'business card' of sorts and thought to create an "Emergency Problem Solving Kit", with instructions to call me to know how to use it. Have a Sharpie, Post-it Pad and Voting Dots. Hopefully it drums up some business :) p.s. I totally made the text small on the sticker with a 24 hour turnaround, we live and learn!

Advertising a free workshop on Linkedin
Hi folks, i'm creating a 45 minute free online workshop that will be advertised on linkedin and was wondering what approach has worked in getting people to sign up, i'm looking to go small batch (<10 seats). Any stories or learnings would be amazing!

@Uros Micic I think DM is a solid starter strategy, my desired audience are SaaS companies and implementation teams. Primarily i've got decades in delivery services and know that's an area which is underserved (and also they are tightwads).

@David Newman sure the end goal is two fold; 1) to establish a value relationship with a company to build leads and 2) practice my workshop builds. Definitely on the ROI angle, my client base doesn't act on funnels based on my experience
How do you define your Facilitator Title for Linkedin?
Greetings Everyone, How do you describe your work? I want to incorporate a clear identifiable title for my LinkedIn headline. Is it just a Facilitator? Workshopper? etc

I've gone with "Collaboration Consultant".
Where is Jonathan Courtney on social?
From what I see JC has taken his insta down. Can anyone tell me where to follow him to get those golden nuggets?

Some say if you post his name three times in a row, he appears.

A Tasmanian living in the biggest smoke of NYC. Love to be a storyteller and use utterly ridiculous jokes to help move the room. Bit of a dork.
