Can you think of a time when using a FB Group actually makes sense?
I heavily agree with so many folks here that building a community on FB is not a great place to expend our precious energy. But I'm wondering if it could be useful in limited applications. I'm planning on doing a 3-day live event to start to build towards my course. My goal is to launch by the end of the year but still want to pre-sell and validate it more. With such a short window (maybe 2 weeks max), it seems like creating a community on Skool or somewhere else won't make a lot of sense unless it remains open. I'm open to that idea, but wondering if you see there being a use for FB groups when the timeframe is shorter and overcoming friction is a bit more of an issue. I'm also thinking of a Slack channel as an alternative, for people to workshop their pitches privately. In fact, I'm leaning that way, but also know that keeping a more permanent community there might be more of a headache.

@Sean Mize This is such a great way to look at it and it's making me rethink how to approach it. I've been teetering on whether to offer the event free (because I don't have much of an audience) or to offer it as a paid event to validate whether people will invest in the larger course. There are so many routes I can take and I'm grateful to be in this community to see how others make their decisions. I just want to give a lot of value, stay in integrity, and be able to profitably pivot into more course-based work vs. project work.
How to Make This Week 5x More Productive
What I am going to share may feel contrarian. If you are in a phase of rest or recuperation, it's not a good fit. But sometimes, a shot in the arm of productivity can be a good thing. Think about your big goal for next week. . . the one thing, which if you accomplished, would make you feel like you had a good week. You worked all week, helped clients, made money . . .and did this one big thing, and you rated the week a win. Now, imagine that you got a phone call inviting you speak on a big stage later in the week and you could ONLY work ONE DAY this week . . . Monday. You have 2 choices: decide to put your one big thing off until next week. OR you can choose to DO the one big thing Monday. Now, if you chose to do it Monday . . . so that by the end of Monday you have completed you one major big goal for the week . . . How would that feel? What could you do with the extra time during the week (since you have already accomplished the big thing that would make you feel like you had a good week)?

I love this, and feel like I always INTEND to do that but I get in my own way. I'd love for there to be some public accountability with this too. My ONE THING is to get my waitlist/pre-sell page up for my signature course and send to 5 people for feedback. What's yours?
Very Grateful to Mariah . . . how she's impacted me
I just feel compelled to write this, and I hope everyone reading this will second this . . . I've followed Mariah since the Evergreen Engines days (I missed the early days) and when I purchased Evergreen Engines what, 5 years ago, the concepts I learned from Mariah allowed me to take my then-current live webinar business and put so much of it on accelerated autopilot. Evergreen Engines' concepts have personally been worth hundreds of thousands to me in estimated revenue And although I didn't personally invest in Profit Architecture (timing was never quite right for me, I often was working on something else at the time), I observed what Mariah did there, combined what she had taught me in Evergreen Engines, and I've used the concept of high ticket selling with webinars, combined with a Google Doc selling campaign, and I've run campaigns from $3997 to ~$6000 without a sales call, and that's accounted for another several hundred thousand dollars. And Mariah's influence was the core "belief mechanism" that allowed me to first believe I could sell high ticket without a sales call, that led me to create the actual campaigns, so I'm so very grateful. A few weeks ago I identified Skool and the very unique timing here during which so many of the Influencers and Gurus who have traditionally used fb groups, and have recently been experimenting with Discord or Telegram groups just to get away from Facebook . . these influencers and gurus are now flocking to Skool, and bringing their communities and followers with them. And so when I saw Mariah leading the way with a Community Concept, I felt validated . . .but also I thought, wow! when Mariah puts her classic sequential and orderly spin on the process . . . it's going to be phenomenal. So I jumped in here last week just to play . . . and it's been fun and rewarding! And now as Mariah's new community is going to hit 1000 members very very soon . . . Is there anyone here who would post a gif or an image that reflects your own appreciation for Mariah's work not just in this Community the last few weeks . . . but on your life over the last few years?

I'm with you on the epiphany Mariah gave me that we didn't NEED sales calls to sell ourselves and that one lone idea was a turning point. There are so many other ways to do business, it allowed me to evaluate all of the things that we're expected to do and decide if it was something I actually enjoyed or just thought I HAD to do to be successful.

looking for a creative person who is good at ppt decks
I've written an intensely logical and print based webinar script and I struggle to convert text to visual concepts So I'm looking for someone who is good with ppt, can easily visualize a look and feel, and convert a paragraph of text into an image idea or a few words? So that the presentation is visually appealing If that's you . . . please reach out!

Charlotte McBride (you can find her on LinkedIn) does great and appealing presentation design
SMS Marketing
What tools have you you all used? What results have you seen and what works the best? I know more folks are using this, and for me it helps to remind me of the events I want to go to that I might have forgotten about. But getting started feels overwhelming.

@Mariah Coz Thanks for the thorough reply! I never even considered putting the phone number on the landing page to direct questions. That is so smart. Edited because voice typing was being weird, haha.
