Hi. I am Marshon. I am so glad to be here. When I found this community I reali,ed that I had been practically holding my breath for months. I hope to get myself together and then help others. I love to sing, cooking, and time with family. I teach pre kindergarten special needs.
In need of rest
I am struggling with positivity. I need help focusing on the good things in my life today. I know I'm feeling this way because I'm so tired. I am looking forward to this break that is coming up so I can get some rest and go see my mom. I think I should set an alarm or reminder because I keep forgetting that I do have this tool with the guided meditations and breath work to help me destress.

@Court Simp thank you so much. This is very helpful.
Dealing
I'm fairly new here. I would like to get more alerts from the app and stay connected. Especially during this season. My father transitioned.RIH in September and it's been more difficult than I thought it would be.
We are not meant to heal alone
I am struggling with finding joy. I have always struggled with connections. I recently realized I created the distance out of fear of being hurt. I'm currently in a housing situation with no possibility of connecting on a meaningful level with anyone here, I've tried. They are all 50 years younger than me (long story) and live for gaming or getting high. My results in learning Somatic breathwork are... I am in and out of feeling amazing, then dropping back into powerlessness. I keep at it and hope to find a sense of connection with people in this group and some consistency/stability in my nervous system soon.

I feel that lack of connection too. All the people i once thought I had a great connection with are not interested in growth or change. We're the same age, but they still want to party like they did. When we were younger. I am no longer interested in that type of life.I want to have as much peace as I can.In my connections
Self Practice 10
Today I noticed some anxiety in my mind. I focused on being present and allowing the proverbial smoke to clear and remaining present and not leaning into the anxiety.

My most important relationships are my husband, kids I lost my father recently and it has shi wd a light on how much residual damage I need to heal.
