๐ŸŽญ The masks I've been wearing: perfectionist, overachiever, invisible, people pleaser, rebel ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ How exhausting it's been: suppress my voice, stay small and unnoticeable, disempowered, losing myself, dangerous friends and situations, illness ๐Ÿ‘ถ What I loved as a kid (before the masks): learning everything, teaching, creativity and art, games and solving problems, strategy, nature, Disney movies, experimenting โšก๏ธ Friction Audit complete โ€” This are the exact steps i have to take (to complete the course): schedule time daily, make tea, watch module and take notes, take breaks after each module, celebrate and feel satisfied with each module (rather than the whole course), reflect on learning and journal about insights, take action to apply learning.

Little wins :)
Iโ€™ve only done the Welcome module so far and already saw some shifts today :) Finally cleaned my shower - which felt like a big deal!! Throughout the day, I could clearly see what needed to be done vs what could be removed and also what was not necessary - really helpful because removing tasks and realizing when you create unnecessary tasks/work for yourself can otherwise be so draining! Used planning skills to delay a lower priority task in exchange for getting to an appt on time (rather than stressing to try to do both). Stuck to healthy eating and sleep goals. Tacking exercise next! Put up my Christmas/holiday lights! Got clear on my transcendent purpose. Enjoying prioritizing self-care and growth again after a long period of depression and struggle. Breaking through perfectionism by taking action was HUGE! Feeling really grateful for the opportunity to be part of this community (for FREE ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ) and to be addressing this struggle with support from lovely and courageous people like you! ๐Ÿ’•

Naming & Shaming my self sabotage
So the 5 day challenge totally passed me by. I _did_ get the emails, I _did_ set reminders but didnโ€™t properly plan for it. Ofc I had all the best intentions in the world, but I didnโ€™t even have Skool on my phone to help even try to succeed ๐Ÿ˜… Fixed!! I will taking part in the 6 week programme. I have zero intention of letting this chance me by. I have plodded on and had grander aspirations this time last year amidst a load of burnout. I am writing this to state at least to myself for the first time in a public space that I need help. I succeed in groups, if Iโ€™m present. It charges me like nothing else. Forgive what is becoming a wall of text, Iโ€™m just done with doing things the same way. Iโ€™m stoked, see you guys in there โค๏ธ

I'm really struggling but I have to say @Jim Ebbelaar it's good to read your posts regarding not being too late.. It is comforting, and not only these posts but the explanation you gave during the live aswell, to feel like you are understood.. I still need quite some catching up to do. I am having a hard time and I noticed that the terribly difficult circumstances I find myself in are exacerbating symptoms so much, besides overwhelm, also that kind of paralysis in getting things done, if you know what I mean? A live session works best for me but I sadly missed those. Assuming only the first and the bonus would be live. So I was present the first one; Very happy when I saw the post announcing the second would be live as well (but the time wasn't mentioned yet at that point and I missed it :( If I can't put the link with some notifications in my calendar right away, chances are great that this happens.) And it took me a while to find the emails.. In any case I missed the other lives too. I'm trying my best not to think I messed up. รnd I'll be present for sure tomorrow and intend to have caught up by then if at all possible.. ๐Ÿ’ชโœจ
