I made more money DMing auction commenters before the auction than from the auction itself
When I ran my Dead Group Goldmine auction, I made more money by talking to people who commented on my pre-auction post. DM'd every commenter: "Hey [Name]! Thanks for commenting on my post about the dormant group auction. Do you have a group that's been sitting dormant, or are you thinking about starting one?" When they answered, I used X-ray T2 and dug deeper. Whatever they say, your job is to dig deeper. - "Tell me more about that..." - "What else is important to you?" - Get SPECIFIC about what they want Keep them talking. It's rarely the first thing they tell you. The conversations will tell you: - What language THEY use (not your assumptions) - What they're REALLY buying (it's not "dead group revival" - it's something deeper) - What price point makes sense In my case, I discovered that I can also position my strategy for new groups with low active members, instead of just focusing on dead groups. Then everybody interested received a DM: "I'm going to run an auction where the winner gets the exact post structure, positioning, and step-by-step process I used. But before I do that, I wanted to talk to a few people like you to make sure I'm including everything that matters. If you could get your group making [their desired result] - what would be worth paying for that?" This tells you their price sensitivity WITHOUT you throwing out a number first. There were a couple super HOT people, so I DM'd them: "You know what - you seem like exactly the right person for this. The auction might go higher than makes sense for you. What if I just hooked you up directly for $[reasonable number based on their buying history]? Would that work?" Closed them even before the auction started.

Awesome, thanks for sharing this @Honey Syed
CDOD First Coffee Date was a success!! 🔥🔥🔥🥳
Pre-Auction post scheduled for Monday I am BEYOND excited! Just got off my first coffee date. The dude is super skeptical whether it would work or not. But his paid community has been stuck at ~250 members for months while his free community almost doubled during that time. And he's looking for ways to change that. He kept saying "Can we make it a $100 starting bid?" "What if the highest bid is only $100?" And I kept bringing it back to the pre-auction post. I REALLY had to work hard to NOT get into the nitty gritty lol.. But I think his pain is enough with his current situation so he's open to the test. And cool with the 25% split. So we're gonna start the test on Monday. He'll be sending it out via email as well. He has a 9k Free Skool The paid community is $99/mo, $149/mo & $6k/year for the DFY Then there’s also a group format DWY for $1k We're doing the pre-auction for the DFY Posting the pre-auction post separately for review:

So cool, happy for you man.

I don't want to tell you to get in it, cuz I don't want the competition. But if you're looking for new opps... check it out ASAP. I got this lead list in less than twenty minutes from the first vid in the program. Perfect targeted leads for the service we're pushing right now.

@Robert Segelquist fire!!! 🔥
New leads, first auction almost confirmed
So, I have people literally reaching out to me to talk about auctions saying "can you do this for me too?" and I haven't even scheduled my first auction yet cause I've been a bit too afraid I might mess up so I'm actually overcomplicating things but getting off that vibe ahah. One guy just reached out to me to see if I still wanted to buy his 10k program on copywriting and I said I've been working on this new hot thing that is helping businesses sell like crazy and he didn't understand and thought I was running ads. I explained again and he told me "can you do this for me?". This guy is a big name who worked with a few VERY big names in the industry, I think even Tony Robbins at some point. If I do this with him, it's going to be HUGE! I'm so excited. Meanwhile I have more leads that I can handle, one multi million dollar business owner who has assets and distribution who wants to do this as soon as possible, hopefully already next week, I mean, I have enough to put the reps in and get better at this. If I play my cards well, I should have 3-4 auctions within the next month or so. On top of that I have a coffee date with a social media manager, which might be a good collaboration, if her clients are big enough. I mean, she literally builds communities for a living ahah

Auction Group Feedback Needed...
Hey everyone, quick context and would love your eyes on this. Last week I sent out the pre-auction email to my list of 9000 subscribers and got some good feedback about bidders. So now I’ve gone ahead and created the Skool group as a starting point today. Right now it includes: • A drafted About section • The first pinned post outlining the intent, structure, and initial rules This is very much a foundation build, not final, and the goal was to get something tangible up so I could pressure-test the positioning, clarity, and flow before sending invites. I’m planning to start inviting people tomorrow, so any feedback would be massively appreciated. Here’s the link to the group: https://www.skool.com/rise-and-rewire-4309/about Tear it apart if needed, all feedback welcome

@André Hallaby thanks man, appreciate the feedback. Now to fill this one up. And I'm on the same page as to the long term plans with this community and building this asset.
