Potential partnerships fell through left and right this week. So I decided to get my ass in gear with the giving funnel. 1 outreach on FB: read, no reply 1 outreach on IG: “Damn an auction, never heard of this in a community. Definitely interested” What makes this even more exciting is this guy is my favorite creator on the planet! Massive audience, thousands of client wins, and the type of person I’d LOVE to work with.

This week I talked about auctions with anyone I know, I guess only my mom and barber are still to be reached ahah. I scheduled a few meetings with people I know, I still have one potential good candidate to meet on Monday but for the most part it's a "let me think about it" or "can you show me what you did with this?". I will reach out to more community owners. For now I've had 2 rounds of messages: 1- 10 messages, 0 replies 2- 4 messages, 2 replies. One said they're doing an auction themselves (they already know about this), the other one said he feels like the auction will discount the value of his brand and I've had the same kind of comment from a software company that I talked to about this so, at least, I know this is a common objection I need to prepare for. Overall I'm moving forward, even if it's a bit slow. Hopefully the next few messages will turn into a virtual coffee 🤞

So, I'm trying to reach out to community owners here on Skool but I can't reach them directly on Skool without getting into their community, so, I messaged them mostly on Instagram or Facebook. So far I only sent 10 messages but something feels wrong about my message: "Hey [GROUP OWNER NAME], I just saw your Skool community. Amazing results! Would you be open to making $5k to $25k for doing a Zoom call?" Do you think it's a message problem (too much "share saliva under the shower" lol), a volume problem (just keep going), a wrong channel (reach them somewhere else) or something else entirely?

So, I'm basically talking about auctions with anyone I meet with and this company that sells an accounting software for SMEs called to propose a partnership where I'd bring leads and get a lifetime commission on sales and I told them: "how about I run auctions and bring you hundreds of leads instead, and then close them for you within a day, would you like to hear more about that?" "Let me take this to our marketing team" 5 mins later they called me back and said: "You're on loudspeaker with my supervisor, can you explain it again, please?" 5 mins later they called me again and said: "when can you talk to our marketing director?" This never happened to me. I always had to be the one chasing those MFs, now they're calling me every 5 mins? WTH!!! This is so cool!!! Anyways, I have a meeting scheduled for next Thursday and have absolutely no idea what to say after I explain again how an auction would work. Can anyone point me to a post or video or more than one to help me prepare for this? I'm freaking out a bit but I'm also so excited 🔥🔥🔥
