Free Skool + Upgrades? Leads >>>Sales
I’m exploring a shift in how I use Skool and would love feedback from you all! I currently have 21 members in my Skool community from when I launched it as free. Only about 5 are actively engaging (5 real club members, 2 paying members). However, a few of the free members hop in from time to time but they do not feel ‘invited’ to engage, so they don’t. I’m considering repositioning Skool as a free community layer in my funnel — consistent light-touch content (worksheets, prompts, questions 1–2x/week) to build connection and trust — and then offering paid upgrades for being part of club- live calls, full skool classroom for my club, and higher-touch coaching. I’m already growing my email list through in-person events, and inviting those leads into a free Skool space feels like a natural next step for deepening engagement rather than doing a facebook group. For those who’ve tested free community → paid upgrade pathways: Did Skool perform well as the free hub? Any pitfalls or best practices I should consider?

I will be home from a work trip to Arkansas and I am PUMPED I'm so ready to be present for this.
some progress AND a question :)
Finally got revisiting/building assets SCHEDULED with my assistant- feels like we are picking up some momentum. I expect to have all assets built out by the end of March. Just wanted to give a quick update! OK now here is my question and would like some feedback from you guys- I have been so frustrated with my job (some of you know I work in construction as essentially a sort of director- it feels like the rug has been getting pulled out from under me the last few months quite a bit). I have been seeking out a new position BUT with the new momentum in my club i'm thinking... what if i just stick it out here and put all my 'new job' focus into just crushing it with my club? as i write it out it seems like a no-brainer, but when i was focusing on attracting 'blue collar women' i had felt stuck for so long. i only sort of redirected the course of my club within the last month or so. A thought that came to me last week in a moment of clarity is there is no reason i can't find a new job that feels EASEFUL and fun that pays well while I keep building my business. the feelings of confusion and frustration in my current role may be holding me back more than a new job would. thoughts??
some progress AND a question :)
WPA session... Sales Follow Up wins Member Cap
- Marketing challenges: Email list reach drastically reduced due to new rules; shifting focus to engagement-driven social media and high-ticket sales. - Tailoring offerings: Club members prefer gentle accountability and community over aggressive goals; adjust programs and marketing to audience-specific needs. - Follow-up critical: 80% of high-ticket sales occur between 5th-12th contact; dedicate weekly time to persistent outreach on past leads. - Personalized strategies: Use Loom videos and targeted social media outreach to warm connections for driving enrollments. - Reviewing networks: Identify sales opportunities by auditing past contacts, clients, and relationships. - January program plan: Implement "Rooted Reset" with personalized DMs, value-packed newsletters, and application process for exclusivity and excitement. (Chat from GROK) Hey team, It's your sales coach here for WPA members — the premier space where wellness pros, healers, and coaches build thriving coaching businesses, and enroll high-ticket clients into transformative clubs. Let's thrive, because in our world of high-ticket wellness coaching (where we're guiding life-changing habit evolution, group programs, and scalable revenue streams), sales truly IS in the follow-up. Statistics Behind "Sales Is in the Follow-Up" (Especially Powerful for High-Ticket Sales) The timeless truth holds: most enrollments don't happen on the first touch — prospects need space to integrate the vision of their upgraded habits, vitality, and business. Here's the proven data (from top sales research in B2B, coaching, and high-ticket spaces): - Only 2% of sales close on the first contact. 3% on the second, 5% on the third, 10% on the fourth... with a massive 80% occurring between the 5th and 12th contact. (Sources: Multiple studies including IRC Sales Solutions, Peak Sales Recruiting, and recent 2025 updates) - 48% of salespeople never even make one follow-up. Half the field taps out early — leaving massive opportunity for us to stand out.
