Day one of Somatic breath work again
I’m working on communication! Tuesday of this week my friend had surgery for a hip replacement. I as a retiree volunteered to stay with her and help her until today as her parents had planned on coming to stay because of a planned Christmas party this Sunday. On Wednesday morning things became very stressful as we followed her prescription regimen that started at six in the morning. When she took her second set of pills she started to have a seizure which she takes medication for. I frantically located them as she struggled to give me direction as to where they were. As I sat with her and tried to get her to eat something as well, I realized that I also needed to take my injection which is need to be taken at around the same time every day. I went into another panic realizing I had forgotten my pin needles and my home which is 20 minutes away. I readied my self to run home, got things to a point where I could leave and rushed out the door and 10 minutes into my drive I reached for my phone to check on my friend I realized I had forgotten my phone. I got home gave myself my injection, rushed back and another panic set in as I realized I had missed my call with Luca. Lack of integrity on my part as I failed to text him to let him know what had happened. I am depressed as I always am this time of year but the fact that I failed to reach out to him makes it even worse. I ask for your help and kind feedback please!

@Luca Licciardi thank you for your support today and for getting me started. I’m live in a small town in Kamas Utah with Ayla my Yorky/poodle and Tamale my cat. The Uintahs are my playground where I hike and x-country ski. I look forward to some day get on a dance floor with you. 😁

@Luca Licciardi you took away my fears on that very first call with you. I am so grateful to have had someone patient and kind to get me started on this journey. My daily breath work has already guided me to join a local class that I wouldn’t have otherwise been able to. Thanks again for your support. And I’ve only just begun!
Module 5: How to Apply This Practice
📝Share Your #1 Take-Away We are all breathworkers, whether we realize it or not. Breath controls our nervous system, influencing our mind and body - let's cover this here in this video! If someone is in a defensive state, no matter the work you’re doing, it might not fully land. Starting with breathwork ensures their system is ready to receive and integrate your work. If you're interested in learning more about deeper journeys, nervous system communication, and advanced techniques, reach out to us. Schedule a call with our education team to see if it aligns with you. Even if you don’t, a part of our mission is to spread this knowledge so we can reconnect with ourselves, each other, and our communities. Healing is about integration and connection. I hope you gain a lot from this practice. Reach out if you need anything. Let’s weave the web of a disconnected world back to the intelligence of our being. For practitioners, this practice has various applications: - Body-Based Practitioners: If you're a chiropractor, physical therapist, bodyworker, or yoga teacher, start your sessions with a short breathwork practice. It helps open up the body, release defense mechanisms, and puts clients in a receptive state. I’ve seen this enhance the effectiveness of bodywork and corrective exercises, making them stick better. - Mind-Based Practitioners: If you're a coach, therapist, or counselor, incorporating breathwork helps your clients become more open and coachable. It prepares their body and mind for revisiting stories, reframing beliefs, and processing emotions. This creates a conducive environment for deeper work.

@Pam Berglund I hear you. My body was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and I also live alone. Which is good and bad because I can come and go as I please but it would sure be nice to have someone there on my bad days. If it weren’t for my friends I don’t think I’d have much motivation. My prayer is that I continue the breath work to make positive changes with my health.

@Pam Berglund Great idea! I have a Yorky/poodle that wants me to throw the ball for her to catch and she gets excited when I just move towards the door. She too was a rescue from an unpleasant environment. I’m in Utah and it was very cold today so yes I too will be faced with winter snow soon and. I like the idea of having a like minded person to compare notes with. Have a nice evening and don’t forget to do your Breathwork.
Day 10
Day 10 was different for me as I felt dizziness even when I slowed breathing down a bit. Then body sensations of sharp back pain, shoulder tension, and tiredness like my whole body feeling lethargic. It was interesting as I did not feel that prior to starting today's practice. I definitely was feeling my body. When I thought about what I wanted to let go the concept of doubt showed up. Doubting myself and the usefulness of continuing to do self "wholing" work( as I like the belief of being whole as opposed to always seeking to heal) as I've tried many befor Then I consciously recognized this was a subconscious pattern and negative belief that brings me down and was able to let it go. Breathing worthiness, I am enough, loving kindness, and being proud of the progress I have made in my life. I find that recording the daily practice helps with showing up but also deepens my reflection on my experience and adds to community connection.

@DurgaMata Chaudhuri I am not very good at communicating over social media myself or even sharing my thoughts and feelings. I have also noticed how Nadeem and others respond in such a positive way.
Module 4: The Daily Practice Overview
📝 Share Your #1 Take-Away Below! In this video, we dive into the structure of the somatic daily practice. This same structure is used for many of our longer sessions. While there are complex, hands-on techniques and ways to tailor your language to speak to someone's subconscious mind, this practice is designed to be simple. Sometimes, simplicity can be the most effective.

I focus too much on whether I’m doing it right and by simply hearing that if you’re breathing you’re doing it right was so helpful.
