Reason 1 Of 973 To Have Your Own Community (In Skool)
While we no longer actively grew or interacted a crazy amount in these old Facebook groups of ours, I just got about 8 notifications for multiple different groups we operate that OUR content WE posted was taken down for “going against standards”. Anytime in business you aren’t building your email list, your own private communities, etc… You’re using someone else’s assets they have complete control over. You may think you do, until your FB groups are taken down, posts removed, etc… The social networks aren’t as social as they used to be :) Lesson #1: Start a community on Skool, or ANY platform that isn’t on FB, Twitter, etc…(but Skool, as it is legitimately the best) Lesson #2: Backup your stuff. Your leads, important videos, business assets, courses, etc - you may need them later. #skoolrocks #fbsucks

@Erika Kulpina Very strange and crazy! But it's okay, that's why we got Skool :)
Why Skool Works & How You Can Apply What They've Built - Into Your Own Business
While you use the Skool platform and community - you may do so without realizing the features that they've built in - are what can propel your own business or passion to the next level. I'd like to go through 2 things that Skool does exceptionally well, and why you should immediately take action with said thoughts... And realize as well that these ideas connect and relate to one another closely... 1. Gamification & Exceptional Product. You don't want customers. You don't want leads. You don't want community members... You want and NEED - lifetime raving fans that love everything you create. Because developing customers who love your brand at this level, is what can truly scale a business or audience into perpetual growth. As an example, think about why has Tesla became what it is today? (Yes, Elon has drastically excelled its growth) But another important reason, lies behind the engagement, love, and free publicity generated by customers. As @Sam Ovens has famously done a video on the concept of the "flywheel" in business - that's the concept that Tesla has created through the ideas I'm highlighting. Customers of Tesla literally generate more customers of Tesla. Sure thing - other car companies have proud customers who proclaim their Ford, Chevy, or Jeep is the best - but not at the scale and passion that Tesla owners have. Tesla builds the "fastest, smartest, most eco friendly, and brand strong vehicles in the world" - is what is commonly proclaimed. And in many ways, could be argued to be true. For more on gamification & product.. Just think about this as well... Tesla does not really make vehicles. Tesla makes driving experiences. There's a big difference. And this additionally alters perception of a brand or business. (They literally have gamified the vehicle in multiple ways. This also rewards customers use of product - and grows love for the product and thus for the company behind it) Excellent product and gamification - drives customer experience - drives longevity and retention - drives publicity and brand - all drives growth.

New features: "Drip" and "Course permissions"
Introducing two new features for courses: 1. Drip — Now you can drip course content to your members over time. When adding/editing a module, turn drip on, and enter the number of days you want to module to drip after. 2. Course permissions — Now you can give some of your members access to course A, but not course B. When adding/editing a course, set permissions to "All members have access" (default), or "Only some members have access". To give specific members access, find the member from the member's list, click the "..." menu, click "Manage access", and select the course from there. These were two of the most requested features we've had, so I hope you guys like them! Check it out and let us know what you think. Enjoy!

I'm doing a full review on Skool on multiple platforms, I want to send as many peeps here as possible!
New feature: "Referrals" — Earn 40% recurring by referring Skool
Now you can earn 40% of monthly recurring revenue by referring people to Skool. Refer 3 people and Skool becomes an income stream, not a cost. Watch the video below to see how it works. How to refer people: Go to "User settings" --> "Referrals" tab --> Copy/paste your referral link --> Done! Note: You can only refer people if you've got a paid group on Skool. Check it out and let us know what you think? 💰💰💰

@Amy Campbell I'm biased because I've been a loyal follower of Sam and his creations over the years, but I am betting heavily that Skool will be a winning horse. :)
