how do i ensure that i get into the same position every time i do inverted rows?
yeah just wanted some tips and techniques so i get into the same position everytime for inverted rows, to ensure consistency. and if this is a factor, i am using gym rings at the same height all the time.
can i build muscle and strength without feeling the muscle?
i have always been stuck on this question. while training back (usually with inverted rows), i have a tough time feeling my back muscles. while doing pushups, i dont really feel my chest working (though sometimes i get a small pump). so my question, specifically for inverted rows, do i need to feel the muscle in order to build muscle and strength? like feel my back contracting and stuff.

should i do inverted rows to TECHNICAL failure (i cant do a perfect/near perfect form) or MECHANICAL failure (until i cant even pull myself up)? where should i stop?
fatigue
my 3 sets of inverted rows usually go in a decending order of reps, and i think it is because of fatigue? so i want to ask, am i making "less gains" if my reps go down during the 3 sets? also i wanted to ask if from workout to workout i just work to even out the number of reps between each set, is that a good idea?
how important are calories for losing weight?
i am still a teenager (17) and cannot track what i eat for dinner because my mom cooks dinner (i can control my breakfast and lunch). i'm scared that I will go over my calorie goal and not be able to lose weight. should i just eat and focus on training, or should i pay attention to the food i eat during dinner? any advice?
