Late diagnosed ADHD
I was only diagnosed with ADHD last year, at 58. Total plot twist—I had no clue. I grieved my life and “what might have been”, if only I’d been diagnosed sooner. I went into a deep depression. If only I were diagnosed later. I was depressed for a while. I was angry. But the more I’m learning about ADHD, the more I move from self-blame to self-understanding. I’m starting to forgive myself. I think I’m even beginning to like myself . Still a work in progress. Still have frustrating days. But this shift—from judging myself to understanding myself—has been everything. Has anyone else experienced this after being diagnosed later in life?

I was diagnosed at 48 and experienced the what ifs..and the if only..For me understanding the common traits and connecting to other ADDers really helped. But we also have to grieve
Connecting the Dots
Just got my ADHD Snapshot and one line stopped me in my tracks: the compassion I'd give my younger self is the same compassion I've been withholding from myself today. I've spent years helping others navigate the exact things I struggle with, and somehow never turned that voice inward. Nine honest answers connected dots I've been stepping over for decades. The Awakening Assessment is next - ready to see what 15 more questions uncover.

@Deb Brouwer thank you
Scaffolding
Just finished all 3 sections of my ADHD Snapshot and realized something I'd never connected before: every task standing between me and the independent career I want isn't the actual work. It's the invisible scaffolding (systems, website, taxes) that my brain resists most. The thing I'm great at and the thing that terrifies me are separated by exactly the tasks ADHD makes hardest.

Holy Shit!
Just finished the first section of my ADHD Snapshot and it named something I've been circling for years: the reason I can see ideas before everyone else but can't turn them into something sustainable isn't a discipline problem. It's a brain architecture mismatch. Also, the compassion I'd give my first-grade self? Apparently that's exactly what I need to aim at myself right now.

Your engagement literally helps people find us. Our activity in this community directly impacts how ADHD Harmony shows up in Skool's Discovery. That's the search engine people use to find communities like ours. The way it works is simple, the more we engage (likes, comments, posts), the higher we rank. The higher we rank, the more people searching for ADHD support actually find us. So when you drop a like on someone's post or leave a comment, you're not just supporting that person. You're helping someone out there who's still looking for their people actually find this place. Now, many of you already know I'm doing giveaways during the challenge. But I decided to add a little something before we kick off: the 10 people with the highest 7-day activity and the top 10 on the 7-day leaderboard before the challenge starts on April 27 will win community credits to use as discounts on our offerings: 🥇 Place 1-3: $150 community credit 🥈 Place 4-6: $100 community credit 🥉 Place 7-10: $50 community credit One important thing: I've seen other communities try to game this by spamming random posts and comments just to farm points. That's not what we're about. The goal is always value and connection. Share something real, ask a genuine question, support someone's post because it resonated with you. Spam will be removed. View leaderboards: https://www.skool.com/adhd/-/leaderboards Here's how the leaderboard works: https://help.skool.com/article/31-how-do-points-and-levels-work Besides your leaderboard score, I'll also be looking at whether you're actively supporting others. So liking and commenting on other people's posts matters just as much. So go like stuff, comment on things, share your wins, and ask questions. It all counts, and it all helps. Let's make some noise before we even get started 🔥
