30 Day Update Free Skool Community
Opened a Free Skool Group 30 Days ago Here are the results so far: 750 new email subs - 800 members 20 Sales Calls Booked 3 HT Sales = $22k 2 Medium Ticket = $4k 30+ Low Ticket Sales $49-$299 All solid results, but the best is the "ease" in which this happening People join by clicking a link on my posts on X They're added to a welcome sequence They either consume the content or welcome sequence Buy a LT or book a call Or at worst they're in the group and can be nurtured It's a pretty effective strategy, will be focusing on it a little more and scaling it up

@Jon Peters Thank you!
Link to app - Conversions are down
Hey team, I'm heavily promoting my Skool community on X, it's doing reasonably well 20-30 members a day. I'm converting new skool users into Skool, but existing users are constantly messaging me that my links go to the "Create an account" or "Login" page, because on Mobile the links never open the mobile app. I saw this ad below, I like it, but it opens on the IG Mobile Skool site, which I'm not logged into, so logging in is an extra hassle. Yes minor complaint, but I'm sure conversions will be hurt from this. I'm considering moving to a funnel and send a Skool invite. I saw that someone tested against a funnel for paid, but for free it's probably not worth the extra steps for people. I solve this problem for ads by using URL Genie for Apps like YT, FB, IG etc. and it opens the app so people subscribe, follow etc. Wondering if that's a possibility here.

@Dan Harrison - Hope it's cool to use your ad as an example here. Would also appreciate your insights here if conversions have been down, or am I just an over optimizer ๐Ÿ˜‚
0-500 Members in 10 days
I've been a FB group guy for years, built several to 5k-10k+ members Decided to give a free Skool group a go... here are the results so far 470 new email subs 13 Sales Calls Booked 3 HT Sales = $22k 20 Low Ticket Sales $49-$299 All with ease and flow, by demonstrating competence inside the community Very simple model, very easy to deliver. I'll start pushing it harder and see where we can go ๐Ÿš€

Change in Skool/Zapier integration?
Previously I was able to Zap emails for ** approved ** membership requests but now it is zapping emails for people who request the group (even if I decline their request). Was this changed and is there a way to get it adjusted back to how it was? I tried playing with it on Zapier but couldn't find a solve. Thanks, Ryan

How do you keep a community from people trying to sell services to them on every post?
What I have seen so far is people just join these communities and either DM other people inside the community, or the second anyone makes a value post they get spammed with someone trying to sell them services. Itโ€™s like the Facebook strategy where people just spam inside fbgroups Am I missing something here, or do I just have to put my community behind a paywall and let them fend for themselves on a free version of my community? I thought it was a good idea to bring my courses over here from other LMS but the spam is insane.

If you notice the posts are blatant lead gen posts - call them out, but leave the post up. Eventually your community will start doing the admin work for you. Building a good culture to.
