How to record my training?
👋 Hi Flexians, I have a simple and conclusive idea for tracking the training. Previously, everything was tracked manually using a pencil and a college block, so I wanted to share an inspired way to streamline this process 💡 I'd love to hear how you handle this! Stay loose and flexible 💃🕺

Do all you guys complete one then go on to the next or repeat the same module a few times?
Martial Arts
Hello! I practice Martial Arts when I can. I found you guys on Instagram while looking for more ways to help with strength, mobility and higher kicks. My goals are to achieve my black belt in Taekwondo in 1 year, keep learning takedowns, more challenging kicks, rolling, falls, etc. Just keep getting better My biggest challenges are my right side. I have an old knee injury that keeps getting injuried, this has caused a right hip impingement that I keep thinking has gone away, only to show up again. My right leg is my weaker leg. Its annoying. I am just finishing some physical therapy that has helped tremendously, but I need strength back in that leg.

This is good stuff. However, I am through a few days now, and it appears I’m having a hard time recovering quickly. My fight classes are very painful. I assume it’s just like with lifting weight meaning it will improve as I get stronger. I may have to figure out a schedule that allows for down time before sparring. I don’t know. I really need medial glute strength badly.

I found this by liking a video on social media. I can’t remember which specific platform. I asked a question relating to glutes becoming too tight when chambering my knee. Andre responded quickly. I’m moderately flexible, but I want to increase my strength in the end ranges of motion, become more flexible and stable, and have more endurance. I am still not sure how to move through these. For instance, how do I know which session to do, how many times do I complete each session, and when do I move on?

Introducing myself
Hello, my name is Jesus Cuevas. I am currently a Marine serving in North Carolina. I am 25 years old. My physical dream as a little kid was to be able to do some cool martial arts stuff, thanks to influences like Jackie Chan and Donnie Yen. Weirdly, I never really got into it until recently. And I’m trying to get into “martial arts tricking”. I think it’s pretty cool. But I found one major challenge: my lower body mobility and flexibility degraded bad over the years compared to when I was a teenager, and I find I needed a way to get the lower body involved, especially hips and hamstrings. I am currently in a flexibility routine right now, amongst a calisthenics routine as well, it’s somewhat of a journey of discovery really, and it did help somewhat with a few mobility problems, but I feel like I’m missing out on some fundamentals. I struggle to do even the most basic roundhouse kick. Plus, I’m not officially trained in martial arts. I eventually aim to be. But, I eventually plan to be. Eventually, I found Flex Theory on Facebook and decided I’ll give it a shot.
