Before the challenge, I was looking for something novel (to me at least) to try. Something which I could slot around my work during the day. I joined (like Heather) after attending Anna’s Creative Mornings class. The class energised me and was really good fun. During the challenge I realised that many of the mindful elements would become good habits - things that I could put into practice throughout the day - and this was a real bonus. After the challenge I felt like I had new ways to sharpen my focus and elevate my energy levels. I know it’s going to take me some time for these to become true habits, but I will be patient and the 5d challenge definitely sparked my enthusiasm to try!
Day 5 Challenge: Mastering Moods
- DONE! Caught myself smiling [X times in the last 24 hours] when I [pleasant situation] or generating a smile when [unpleasant situation] and learned XYZ… - BONUS: Share a pic of your journal page of tracking smiles - Like AND comment on 2 other posts of fellow community members.

DONE! I am definitely someone who smiles a lot. I often smile as I walk past someone on the street, and love it when they smile back. Little did I know until todays Mastering Moods class, that it was having such a positive effect on both parties! I've smiled so many times throughout today, so I feel good from that perspective. Bringing a smile when things are not so great or unpleasant feels quiet alien to me though. I'm going to have to practice that for a while, along with the continuous laughing. It does feel good though! 😆
Day 4 Challenge: Increase Focus
Practice Anapana Meditation for 10 Min this evening and/or tomorrow morning in silence or using the S.N. Goenka audio When complete, comment below: “DONE! I was present feeling my nostrils for [give rough estimate ie. 30 seconds of 10 minutes] and [what you noticed]. It was easier to meditate in the [morning/evening].” Like AND comment on 2 other posts of fellow community members. Draft out what you've gotten out of the challenge in your journal. - Before the challenge, I [your challenge/struggle/why you joined]. - I joined because [reason you decided to participate] - I realized [any learnings about yourself and your body] - After the challenge, I feel [X] and created [specific, tangible results]. ​

And that’s exactly what happened this morning 😂 It was more like 55-60%, which I expect will be my norm and give me something to improve on. I’ll have to start Day 5 next week now, as I’m travelling but look forward to it.

Hello - I'm Helen and I live in the UK, close to London. 👋 I'm regularly out for walks in the fields and woodlands close to my home and often take inspiration from nature - particularly wildflowers - that I have seen or photographed; using them in my work as a designer and illustrator. Really happy to have discovered Anna's classes and to join this community. Wishing everyone a good week ahead.

Day 3 Challenge: Feel Less stress and More Vitality
Body Tap, Washing Machine, then Brain Wave Vibration (aka Dahnjon tapping with fists to lower core) for one deeper session (10 min) OR 3 mini-sessions (2-3 min each) using phrase "I feel X. It's ok, I choose to feel my Dahnjon." UPDATE: After the first 3 comments, I added more on what to post so I can learn what happened. DONE! Love the warm up, and it was great to combine this now with tapping. I completed this just before leaving the house for a client meeting and let go of any tension or anxiety, ready for the rest of the day! Played Northern Lights by Lux.
