natal / star charts- Are you a believer?
I want to share a little about natal / star charts and why I’ve come to appreciate them more deeply over time. For most of my life, I was a skeptic. Not a hard no, but definitely a “this feels interesting… with a giant beach of salt.” That skepticism is ironic, considering my maternal great-great-grandmother was a palmist, and belief in these systems was simply woven into her way of life. Over the years, something softened. Maybe it was learning that we’re literally made of the same carbon as the stars. Maybe it was seeing my own charts and noticing how uncannily they reflected my inner life, my patterns, and my long arcs of becoming. Or moments like when Anna shared about the impact our thoughts have on our cells, and how our cells, in turn, affect the world around us. That felt like a bridge between science and mystery I could actually stand on. I don’t see charts as fate or fortune-telling. I see them as maps. Frameworks. Mirrors. Another way of understanding the raw materials we’re given and how we might work with them more consciously. For me, they’ve become a source of curiosity, wonder, and self-compassion rather than certainty. I’m sharing my own chart here not as proof of anything, but as an invitation to conversation. 💫 I’m curious: - Have you ever had your natal or star chart done? - Did it feel accurate, illuminating, neutral, or totally off-base? - Do you consider yourself a non-believer, a skeptic, somewhere-in-between, or all-in? - What frameworks (astrology, science, spirituality, psychology, or otherwise) help you make meaning of your life? There’s no right answer here. Just curiosity and conversation.
