Hey everyone 👋 I’m facing an issue with my tool calls inside a Vapi Assistant flow, and I’m hoping someone can help me debug it. Whenever the assistant tries to call my custom function (e.g. check_Availability), it fails and shows the following errors: In the chat view: “No result returned. If this is unexpected, see troubleshooting tips at https://docs.vapi.ai/tools/custom-tools-troubleshooting#no-result-returned-error” In the call log view: “Your server rejected tool-calls webhook. Error: ...” You can see both errors in the attached screenshots Here’s some context: I’m using n8n to handle the webhook logic. The workflow is hosted on Hostinger (shared hosting). The webhook URL works perfectly fine when tested manually via Postman. The assistant recognizes the tool and attempts the call — but Vapi reports “no result returned” or “server rejected webhook.” So, it seems like the webhook is either being rejected by my Hostinger environment or the response format/timing might not match what Vapi expects. Has anyone here successfully integrated Vapi with n8n hosted on Hostinger (or similar shared hosting)? Would really appreciate any guidance — maybe around response structure, SSL setup, or timeout handling. 🙏 Thanks in advance! — Hariraj

Hi everyone! 👋 I’m looking to learn how to build a voice agent, and I’m open to working full-time for 1–2 months for free all I want in return is the chance to gain hands-on experience and grow my skills. I’ve previously built a basic voice agent as a project, so I have a little experience in the space already. I also have some familiarity with no-code automation tools and enjoy building and experimenting with new things.
