🚨 Need Help: "No result returned" / Webhook Rejection Issue in Tool Call (n8n hosted on Hostinger)

Hey everyone 👋

I’m facing an issue with my tool calls inside a Vapi Assistant flow, and I’m hoping someone can help me debug it.

Whenever the assistant tries to call my custom function (e.g. check_Availability), it fails and shows the following errors:

In the chat view:

In the call log view:

“Your server rejected tool-calls webhook. Error: ...”

Here’s some context:

I’m using n8n to handle the webhook logic.

The workflow is hosted on Hostinger (shared hosting).

The webhook URL works perfectly fine when tested manually via Postman.

The assistant recognizes the tool and attempts the call — but Vapi reports “no result returned” or “server rejected webhook.”

So, it seems like the webhook is either being rejected by my Hostinger environment or the response format/timing might not match what Vapi expects.

Has anyone here successfully integrated Vapi with n8n hosted on Hostinger (or similar shared hosting)?

Would really appreciate any guidance — maybe around response structure, SSL setup, or timeout handling. 🙏
