First ETS session
Just did my first ETS session and I felt sensations in my low back and pelvis that I've never felt before (in a good way). My ability to produce a strong contraction with my hamstring by driving my heel into the floor in that lengthened position is hilariously weak and I get why I've always had issues opening up here now. So excited to keep pushing this paradigm. One question i have is that at one point in the session we're required to internally rotate the leg while you have one hand behind you, until the inside of the foot is on the ground. It seems like i hardly have any ability to internally rotate my hip like that. It rotates maybe 25-30 degrees max, so i basically get zero access to my adductors. Will continuing HOF give me access to that position.
GGBB & HOF
Just did a session of GGBB as warm up and HOF as the main exercise today. I'm loving the use of isometrics and co-contractions to develop strength. Its forcing me to develop body awareness that's hard to get by just using raw weights.

Merry Christmas!!
Testament
I just have to say, after 4 years of Andre, there's not a single thing this guy can't fix. I'm incredibly grateful I met him so many years ago. I have a spinal fusion in L4-L5. When you are an athlete for life and they tell you at 19 you will never play a contact sport again, or that you aren't supposed to even vacuum your house that hits. I got told I would be back with in 10 years for another. Long story short...it's been 22 years since surgery. My disc is finally starting to go but I'm fighting it and GGBB is helping! I was at an intense training last weekend when during switch kick drills I had pain shoot down my leg. I stepped to the side, worked some GGBB for 5 minutes and I was back on the mats with zero problems the rest of the day!! Anywho, just needed to say thank you to Andre for sharing his amazing knowledge with the rest of us and helping give me and so many others a better life😊💪

This is incredibly encouraging as someone who also has dealt with back issues.
Excited to Start
Hey all, My name's Francis. super excited to start on the path to flexibility. My main goal right now is to be able to do a belly to floor pancake stretch. My biggest Challenges is I'm really inflexible and small back discomfort

@Andre Victorian 1) I don't have any specific injuries per say , but too much lumbar extension tends to cause discomfort/nerve irritation for me. For example trying a bridge or laying on a yoga ball. Lumbar Flexion tends to feel fine though. 2) The places I feel the biggest encumbrances are hamstrings, low back and adductors.
