Pricing for content creation services 🤔
Hey everyone! I need your opinion about which price to set on content creation services. Because I sell comprehensive done-for-you service, it’s kinda hard to set up a reasonable price. For a context: I grow YouTube-channels and create both long- and short-form educational videos for YouTube (plus repurposing for Instagram, TikTok, LI, newsletter, blog post). It includes a lot of tasks (market research, scriptwriting, channel setup, video editing and publishing, etc.). So instead of selling individual services, I sell monthly packages so client will be fully covered. I have weird feelings from “oh, it’s a huge paycheck, no one will buy it” to “working for a food, great” 😂 So that's why I want to hear your opinion how to deal with it. If you have an experience paying for services I described and you can share the numbers you paid, it will be sooooo helpful. Thanks!

@Dean Potter huge thanks for this information, definitely will help to write more details why I should charge # amount for a service. My value is around time (you need only 1-2 hours per week to grow in socials), growing several socials simultaneously with video content and using this content in marketing / sales process to boost conversions. So it’s not only about getting new subscribers, but also about getting new leads faster.
Want to get feedback about low-ticket sales page
Hey everyone! I'm one stage to utilize my two courses about video editing in Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro. Previously I sell them through Udemy and SkillShare, but it doesn't give good profit. I want to promote both products simultaneously using LinkedIn, blog posts and YouTube, because they are similar in format, duration and content. First week of active promotion will be with limited price £29 (~$37 USD), them make it evergreen with £49 price tag. Sales page for FCP is ready, want to get feedback about it and make second sales page about Adobe Premiere Pro (basically, copy-paste, just need to change naming and photos 😁): https://evgenymaximov.com/fcp-course/ Everything is ready on back-end, I just need to launch it in public. Will be great to get feedback from you 🙏

@Ruby M Thanks a lot, great feedback! Telling about results - it's haaaard 😂 Design is much better if comparing with my first test product. I used template provided in other course and it looks boring and old-fashioned. It's still available and I created it month ago - https://courses.evgenymaximov.com So huge progress in short time-frame. I will let you know when you version will be live 🙏

@Michael Rincon Thanks for your detailed feedback. This is first iteration using Mariah template so I didn't polish it. And English market is quite new for me. It works completely different in terms of how sales pages designed, which funnels used, etc. So that's why I made some obvious strange points (like about the charging in GBP). Thanks a lot 🙏
What platform do you host your course content on?
In the spirit of platform switches, I'm curious what everyone else is using right now.

Started using Course Creator App which just launched in public. Has all main functions for course management, email automation, offer and checkout creation. Price is low right now - $480/year after 90-day trial

@Dre Nolon well, it’s not an app creator. Project changed naming - Online Course Builder right now. It’s like Kajabi or Teachable. I know that Mighty Network can create white-label solution with own app

Hiring
Who was your first hire in your business and what did you have them doing? I'm at the point where I need to hire someone yesterday to start taking over the digital product side of my business or at least being able to delegate enough so that I don't feel like I'm having to do everything. I'm in the process of creating SOPs (Written and video) of just every day things that I do. To just make the transition easier, or so I hope.

Multi-tasking virtual assistant for sure. Hired several times for my own activities and while working in company. I delegate: Basic market research, subtitle creation for shorts, post writing and publishing on various platforms, design, database management and something else. Going to hire again because need help mainly with website and content /course management.
