I’ve had this pop up a few times in different forms “Do I risk cheapening my offers/brand if bids don’t go very high?” (Reputation risk) Or… “What if the winning bid falls short of our fulfillment costs?” Or “Can we set a reserve?” (Financial risk) Curious what y’all say to stuff like this I’ve been swinging attention back to the backend… where the bulk of sales are. Remind em that the main point isn’t where the auction ends… it’s all the leads we surface and what we do with them after the gavel drops “SOLD!” In one case we’re playing with the idea of doing tiers (instead of setting a reserve)… so when bidding hits a certain amount, new bonuses unlock that include more DFY stuff Then there’s Travis’s Dutch Auction 🤯 But I’m wondering if I’m missing an obvious answer to these Q’s… And if/how y’all deal with it?
