@Steven Lawson Totally agree on urgency - which should be a core mechanic of the game regardless. That said, I personally - as someone who wasn't asked 😂 - don't fully agree with the idea that AI will replace this role. The question of whether in two years 'self'-motivated and agentic AI behaviours are capable of replacing human synthesisers and whether they WILL are actually two different questions. I have no doubt AIs will be capable of doing so, but I think there are three main interconnected factors at play as to why they won't: 1. I think the backlash against agentic AI is going to be large-scale and strong for at least 5 years as people adjust to the new realities and so many lose their jobs. 2. The widespread desire for human-connection (which no matter how 'good' AI gets, I don't believe will go away), will escalate in urgency and necessity as the backlash grows. 3. Governments will be (and are) actively working to implement digital fingerprint systems that identify human vs AI content (and the shades in between) - whatever one thinks about the privacy/freedom implications for such systems; I think they're coming. Putting these together, I personally think two realities will exist side-by-side. Yes, human-AI collaboration on synthesised projects will become the norm over time. But, content entirely generated and synthesised by AI will eventually be categorised separately within platforms like Youtube and there will be filters etc in place for it. Thus, at least for the next 5-10 years, even if AI is *capable* of replacing human synthesisers and will do in many areas (like teaching the masses), in many other areas it will not due to both innate human needs and technological/regulatory innovations.
Second Video OUT NOW! Holy Histories...
Hey guys, thanks for all the positive feedback on my last video! I have just released my second video, experimenting with a new scripting method of engaging the viewer and some new editing strategies as retention on my first video wasn't so good! Please let me know what you think, and watch all the way through for another surprise at the end... I decided to go with episodes as my retention wasn't so good in the last one and I want to try to make every video better! Perhaps when retention is better, I will experiment with longer videos. All love, Synthesiser Fam. Holy Histories - YouTube

@Patrick Hauswald Yeah, no worries man! It's definitely targeting a niche. Religious history is underserved. I'm hoping Youtube finds the right peeps to push it out to in due course. I'm glad you enjoyed the edit regardless!

@Jon Denton thanks for the awesome, detailed feedback, man. You're probably quite right about the claims! I'm losing about 50% of the audience in 30 secs currently. I'm working on more mass-market appeal for my next video addressing if Jesus ever visited to the UK. So, hopefully that'll boost me a bit on the niche side... But big is the hope! In the meantime, I've subscribed to Vinh Giang and I'll check out more of his videos when I get back home! Thanks for the tips.

Hi guys! My name is Edward Ashdown, I'm from the UK but living in my wife's hometown in Java, Indonesia. Right now I'm focusing on building a YouTube channel called Holy Histories about the history of Christian figures and the church as there's a real lack of quality Christian content on YouTube. Looking forward to discussing and sharing with the community.

Dear Son...
Hey Son... I know it feels like hell, I know you feel like everyone around you is different, everything sucks, when you are 100% sure something is going in the right direction, life instantly reminds you of how hard this is. but I want you to know that this is normal, this is what changing feels like, this is what becoming great feels like this is how you become exceptional being exceptional means that you are different from everybody else, this is why it is so hard because everyone has an easy life, comfortable, constantly distracted, avoiding pain this means that if you want to be different, and exceptional, you have to do the opposite you need to have a hard life, be uncomfortable, and be constantly aware of everything, even the most painful things, and most importantly embrace them because they are the things that make you different. and that's okay, nothing is wrong with you, you are just changing you are following a different path and that's what it feels like... Dad -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ps: i don't have a son, this is a note to self, and to my future childrens Pss: i know this post is strange but i hope someone needs it!

Dude, this is a unique YouTube channel in the making. Totally new way of presenting wisdom/self improvement.
Second Video TOO Long?
I just finished recording my video script and I'm torn. I knew it was going to be longer than my first one, but the recording, after edits, is likely to run 35-40 minutes. I'm wondering what you think: Should I release as one given it's one story even though retention might be an issue? Or, should I release as two parts even though it may be too early and pointless to do 'episodes'? Or, am I being over-ambitious and should just try to cut like a maniac? Also, Thumbnail Thoughts?
