@Nathan Miller That’s an exciting goal, Nathan! Freediving is such a fascinating practice, and breathwork will definitely be a game-changer for you. It’s great that you’re diving into it (pun intended)! Looking forward to hearing about your progress.

@Maria Cruz Welcome! That’s amazing timing, sounds like this challenge came at the perfect moment for you. CO2 tolerance training can be a game-changer for breath control and overall endurance. Looking forward to hearing about your progress and any insights you gain along the way. Wishing you an awesome journey of discovery and improvement!
Post Your Breath Hold (Week 8: Feb 17th 2025 - Feb 23th 2025)
Post all your Breath Hold Times here! Let's go & double your breath hold! 🧑‍🏫 Step 1: Take an inhale, start your stopwatch & hold your breath. Step 2: Post your time here so you can get feedback and points Step 3: Head on over to the Classroom & follow the instructions Already participated last week, or last month? No worries, you can post and do it as much as you want (as a matter of fact, we'd only encourage it 😎) And if you done the challenge once (or twice), feel free to shake it up a little bit. Do exhale breath holds only for a week, or take it easy and do 1-2 breath holds a day without going for a max. Variety is the spice of life. Get to level 4 in the Leaderboards, and you unlock the Superhuman Lungs training protocol (who doesn't want to have lungs like the Human Dolphin?) Post at least 3 times before the week is over, and you may be the lucky winner of the Breath Hold Mastery course 😎 And last (but not least) a little shout out to last weeks top 10 leaderboard: @Oleg Kashin @Elliot Raboy @Sanja V @Abednego Moses Suryanda @Danreb Danreb @Luca Pinelli @Stephanie Challis @Bruce Stayne @Terje Gresslien @Giovanna Franceschini

Sounds like an awesome challenge! Everyone’s progress is inspiring, great to see so many pushing their limits. I’ll have to give this a try and see how long I can hold my breath!

This is an awesome challenge! Training lung capacity and breath control is such an underrated skill, and it's inspiring to see a whole community pushing their limits together. Looking forward to seeing how the Superhuman Lungs protocol can help improve endurance, relaxation, and overall respiratory efficiency. Congrats to last week's top performers, it's motivating to see what’s possible! Curious, what's been the biggest breakthrough for those who’ve already been training with the protocol? Any surprising benefits beyond breath-hold time?
2000 Members!! 🎉🍾🎉
Hej everyone, It is only the first month of 2025, and TOGETHER we have already achieved a new milestone! The 7-Day Breath Hold Challenge has officially reached 2000 members. Thank you everyone for joining us in our mission to spread the word that Breath Holding is the New Black (in case you haven’t seen it - it is a reference to Stig’s TEDx talk). And an extra thanks to everyone who checked in daily or weekly with their breath holds. If you are still a polar bear (which means - you haven’t posted your time yet), it is about time to jump into the water with the rest of the arctic animals. You’ll have a blast, we promise! Of course, a milestone should come with a celebration. When we hit 1000 members, we celebrated with a guided audio meditation for Breath Holding (if you missed it, you can find it in the Classroom). For reaching 2000 members, we have now added a new section in the classroom: the Live Call Archive. Curious? Here is a quick sneak peek of what you’ll learn in the live calls with Stig: Dive Deep into 2025 with Breath Holding - How do I progress after the 7-Day Breath Hold Challenge & Breath Hold Mastery? - My breath hold times fluctuate and this is discouraging. What should I do? - What is the difference between Breath Holding and Farinelli's Suspended Exhale? - If you are older and/or have a high blood pressure, what precautions should you take? - How does breath holding benefit people with asthma? - How do I determine which breathwork teachings to follow? - What is your opinion on Holotropic breathing & do you think it is dangerous?

Wow, 2000 members, what an amazing achievement! This community is truly inspiring, and it's incredible to see how breath holding is making such a positive impact on so many lives. Looking forward to exploring the Live Call Archive and continuing this journey with everyone. Here’s to even longer breath holds and reaching 5000 members soon!
How Long Can YOU Hold Your Breath? (Leaderboards Explained)
Hi there, Polar Bears. How's it chillin'? One of the nifty features of Skool is the leaderboard. You can find it in the top navigation bar of the 7-Day Breath Hold Challenge page (see image). For the biologists and animal lovers among us, you'll understand the animals linked to each level. That's right - the order is based on how long each animal can hold their breath under water. Now, how do you go from a polar bear to a sea turtle? The answer is: sharing & posting quality stuff! Every single time someone likes your post, you get a point. Each level requires a certain amount of points to level up. (click the question mark under your profile picture to see the exact amount) New levels also mean new features! For instance, when you become a Sea Otter, you can message each other (this is mostly to keep those spammy Polar Bears from sending unsolicited ads) If you level up to a Dugong, you can migrate to the Discovery Masterclass, and of course, when you reach the Dolphin level, you can learn how to train Superhuman Lungs. We are still playing around with the rewards for the other levels, as well as winning the weekly/monthly leaderboards. Rewards may be subject to change. The goal of this community that we help each other. So be kind, and give your fellow polar bear a like when you can. We'll be a bale of sea turtles soon enough. So, are you ready to level up? ACTION: Post your current level (and feel free to come back every time you reach a new level).

Sounds like a fun and engaging way to build community while improving breath-holding skills! I love the idea of using animals as levels, it adds a unique touch and some extra motivation. Looking forward to seeing how everyone levels up and what new rewards get introduced!
