I’m carving out a quieter corner on Instagram where I share somatic reflections, honest words, and reminders to listen to your body again. If that’s what you need right now, come by. https://www.instagram.com/devorahleaheilenberg?igsh=MXRocnl4eGY1ZmR4ag%3D%3D&utm_source=qr

Learning from others.... Part One
I'm curious to know how people are experiencing and working with this practice so I'm going to ask a few questions over this week. I think it's interesting to share how we all do this and see if we are inspired by each other. **Question 1**: When in the day do you do this practice? I do mine in the morning, before I get out of bed as part of my morning routine.

Yes I have a weekly practice. So good checking in consistently, it gives me a lot of grounding.

@Ema Quinn it’s more like 30 sometimes 40 minutes
How does your body feel as you begin today?
Before rushing into the day pause. Sometimes the most sacred part of the morning is remembering you don’t have to start from your mind you can start from your body.

Today I found out that my son has PANDAS.
Somatic awareness helped me move through the initial shock of finding out about it. I was at the gas station when I got the phone call. I went home, headed straight for the bathroom and all feels came streaming through me. Somatic awareness gave me a way to stay grounded in my body when my mind was spinning. Have a look at the reel I posted. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DPP7pZMjJOh/?igsh=MWswYnUxMGxsZnN5Mw==
Breathing Into Tuesday
Good morning, everyone. It’s Tuesday, we woke up, don't forget to stretch, and move a little. Your body will slowly comes online. Take few intentional breaths, you feel more grounded and present. As your breath settles, your energy begins to shift, just enough to notice what’s in front of you. That’s where the day starts to flow. What shifts when you start your day with your breath? not as a habit, but as a moment of connection? Is there a way your breath is guiding you today that you may have overlooked? Feel free to share what’s showing up in your body, breath, or awareness this morning. šŸŒ¬ļøšŸ’› My breath and body felt a little tight, a few deep breaths later I feel like I can tackle the day.
