GHL Setup
What are my options if I wanted to pay someone to set up my account? GoHighLevel certified Admin? Extendly? Other? Thank you.

You can go with a certified admin or agencies like Extendly, but if you’re looking for a more tailored setup around your funnels and automation, that’s exactly what I do. What are you looking to get set up? @Alan Chambers
Greetings & Happy New Year!
Hope you’ve had a great start to the year. I’m having an issue with my Voice AI in GHL. During the call, the Actions During the Call are not being executed correctly .First name, reason for the call, and last name are being skipped. The AI jumps straight to appointment booking and hangs up immediately after the appointment is scheduled. What could be causing this, and where would you start troubleshooting first? Best regards Abesta

This usually comes down to either the prompt flow logic or how the variables are mapped in the Voice AI settings. I’d first check whether the required fields (first name, last name, call reason) are marked as mandatory before the booking step, and also review the action order and conditional triggers. In many cases, the AI jumps ahead when it thinks the goal is already satisfied. Start by reviewing the prompt sequence, variable capture, and any “skip if known” settings.
New to the GHL Game
Howdy, im 22 years old, I just got GHL this year along with jobber (another CRM). I own a landscaping & lawncare business and I'm trying to figure out how to now make my business even better. I see a lot of stuff and info and its kinda overwhelming, but im curious if anyone can help me navigate maximizing (from their own experiences) both jobber and GHL integrations and automations!

You’re on the right track already, most business owners don’t even think about systems this early. The key is not using all the features, but setting up a few automations that directly support how your landscaping business actually operates (leads → estimates → jobs → follow-ups → reviews). I’ve helped service businesses simplify GHL + CRM workflows so they save time and don’t feel overwhelmed. Happy to share what’s worked from real experience if you want to connect. @Jaiden Turnini

What you’ve put together looks solid, but carriers can be pretty strict with A2P approvals. A common issue is using placeholders like {{contact.first_name}} in the sample messages instead of showing the exact text a customer would see. They also want the opt-in process spelled out clearly, sometimes even with a screenshot of the form or checkbox. I’d try resubmitting with real message examples and a bit more detail on how consent is captured. Have you already provided any screenshots of the opt-in flow?
Good Business to Start? Trade Show Automation Service
Hey everyone, I’m setting this up right now for my own home service business — we’ve got a big home show in about two weeks. That got me thinking: this could be an awesome productized service to offer other businesses. The Pain Point: After every home show, businesses come home with a stack of leads… and then what? 🤯 - Manual follow-up is a pain. - A lot of hot prospects go cold. - Most vendors don’t have a system in place. The Solution: Offer an automation package built on GHL that makes trade show leads actually convert. How It Works: - Visitors scan a QR code at the booth. - They land on a form → answer a few qualifying questions (homeowner? timeline? preferred communication?). - Once submitted, they’re dropped into an automation sequence: Business Model: - Setup Fee: QR, form, landing page, automations. - Ongoing Monthly Fee: lead nurture, reporting, campaign tweaks. I’m starting with my own show, but I can see this being a huge win for any business that relies on trade shows, expos, or conferences. What do you think? Could this be a scalable niche business for GHL agencies? Anyone else tried something like this?

That’s a smart approach. Trade show leads usually get lost in the shuffle, so having an automated system like this makes a big difference. I like the way you’ve structured it with both upfront setup and ongoing nurture, t’s a strong model for recurring revenue. Are you thinking of focusing just on home services to start, or expanding to other industries that do a lot of expos? @Kurt Laemmel
