Networking In New York
Instagram fixed, for now. Watching tutorial videos. Making my lists. I wanted to reach out to guys in the New York area to connect with those interested in networking. I believe we could work more successfully by forming a mastermind for those in the New YOrk area who are interested. All of us bring something unique to the table and if we team up we can collectively open more opportunities. Hit me up and let me know if interested; we can link up on Insta and get something going.....

I'm NYC adjacent in CT and currently apartment shopping. I'd be down to join this. I need introductions to New York society.

@Joseph Rolleri I knew a guy who tried hypnosis and it worked for him.
My instagram is empty, but I have some backlog of photos - what and how to post them?
I don't post on social media, but I have some backlog of photos: - 2-3 photo sessions in multiple locations done by photographer, in last 2 months - recent travel photos from multiple locations, close to MoA quality - travel photos from last year - mostly with either views without me, or where I could look better I'm wondering how to go about selecting and posting them, here are my questions: 1. If I have great photo of just a travel location without me - is it worth posting on the gird, story, or should I skip it - especially if it's not recent? 2. What's the best order to post? Recent trips first? Best photos first? Group same country/city together, or mix it up? 3. Does frequency matter? Like posting only a few a week before I go through my backlog, or dumping a lot at once is fine? For now I aim to showcase a digital nomad lifestyle, and with that as a solid base I'll think where to take it from there. Thoughts?

I would posting a back log photo on every other post you do. If you want to showcase digital nomadism you should be posting every day or every other day so, I would include a current pic and then a backlog pic and the tell the story. I think telling a story in photos is important so grouping together some in a carousel can be a clever way to tell the story of a location and build up your status. I would share "extra" photos to your story as well.
Why The Hottest Rooms Have The Fewest Men.. (And how I got there)
I was at a ridiculous party in Cape Town not too long ago 70–80% women. Models - like super fkn hot ones - successful, nice, and pretty women. BUT only a handful of men. A year and a half ago, that world felt completely out of reach for me - like not even close But here;s what I changed and you can do too.. I stopped trying to “pull” women. and I started building real friendships with them. Not fake friend-zoning lol Not suppressed attraction. Genuine abundance. I built a powerful network that INCLUDED women. because here’s what most guys don’t understand and what I did not for so long.. When you can walk into a room with +2 or +3 women who genuinely like you, your perceived value goes through the roof. Not because you’re flexing. But because: - Women trust men who other women trust - Social proof compounds - Scarcity disappears this is all stuff that mike talks about. see - most men can’t friend-zone because they’re outcome-attached They don’t have the foresight to see the long game and the big swings / 10000x ROIs But when you do? pretty fkn quickly you'll get to parties like these.. if u have questions, Question away - would love to help!

Being Low Status Can Kill You
I recently heard about the Whitehall Studies. It was a longitudinal study of the UK civil service. They thought that there would be more health problems the higher people were promoted through the ranks, but they found the opposite. We already knew that those with more resources tend to live longer and healthier lives, mostly because they can afford healthcare, have time to really heal, and usually have more social support. In the Whitehall study, they found that those with the worst health outcomes were always people at the lowest rung of a centuries-old hierarchy. The theory had been that heart attacks were caused by stress of responsibility, but the 12-year study proved otherwise. They also found that this was true even after controlling for lifestyle factors; the gap would not close. They found that chemicals like cortisol, rather than ebbing and flowing, remained stubbornly high. They also found that resting heart rates were higher, leading to heart attack and stroke. Being low status, without much control over your life, and low agency is deadly. I wrote about this in my most recent book as well (DM for details). I found this to be quite poignant. Speaking as a brown, Southern, autistic man, I'm always at the bottom of any social hierarchy (hello from the basement!), and I know that autistic people tend to have dramatically shorter lifespans, with an average life span of 55. There are a variety of factors in that, including the ability to care for oneself or support oneself. Things get so bad that the suicide rate is rather high, too. I think a small part of this is the fact that most autistic people are not even registering on the social hierarchy, much less being on top of it or controlling it. A life of low status means fewer (if any) opportunities and far higher stress, leading to further breakdown of mental health issues and the resulting physical issues (on top of the comorbidities that come with autism). I can't help but wonder how many years I am losing because I will always be low status, no matter what I do or how successful I am.
