The 17 Touchpoint Nurture Sequence

Day 1: Initial Contact - Introduction Email Context: You've just met the person at a networking event or exchanged contact information. They may not remember you well, so keep it friendly and concise. Content: Send a brief email thanking them for the meeting, remind them where you met, and express your interest in their business or needs. Attach your contact details and a link to your LinkedIn profile for reference. Day 3: Educational Content Context: This email should follow up on your initial contact and provide value. Content: Share a relevant industry article, eBook, or whitepaper. Explain why you found it interesting and how it could benefit them. Encourage them to discuss the content with you if they have questions or thoughts. Day 7: Personalized Follow-up Context: Show that you care about their specific needs. Content: Reference any information they shared with you at the networking event. For example, if they mentioned a particular challenge, offer some initial thoughts or solutions. Keep the conversation personalized and genuinely interested.

Hi everyone My name is Calvin Hollywood. I'm from Germany and I've been building communities for 17 years. I've created three communities with Skool and in this post I'd like to share a few tips on how to increase engagement when you're starting out with community building. Tips 01 The past When asking your community a question, refer to what they've experienced, not what they're planning to do next. Such questions are easier to answer. Asks for past highlights. Tip 02 Don't take too much time Keep your question simple and don't ask for too much detail. Your community pays with their time at the beginning. This is valuable, so create posts that are quick and easy to have an opinion on. Tip 03 Community building is not social media While you often post about yourself on social media, with a community, focus on the others. Withhold your opinion and ask for the opinion of others. Use less the words I, we, us and more the words you and you. These are really just three simple thoughts, which, however, have an extreme psychological effect. My 6-word cure for Imposter Syndrome
Back when I was a copywriter at a creative agency, I had to learn to embrace what I now call “version one mentality.” That meant that when I submitted a draft for a client to review, I needed to be ready to get feedback and make adjustments as needed— without being overly critical of myself. Today as an entrepreneur, “version one mentality” has been the difference between my Big Ideas living and dying in my head, and me putting my work out into the world where it has the opportunity to impact the lives of fellow multi-passionates (that’s the niche that I serve). When I’m working on a new project (like the private podcast I recently put together for my coaching clients), I embrace “version one mentality” so that my perfectionism doesn't take over. And when I’m pushing myself out of my comfort zone (like right now as I gear up to re-open the doors to my program at a new price with an updated curriculum), "version one mentality" keeps my imposter syndrome in check. 💭“I don’t have to be perfect and it doesn't have to be perfect, this is just the first version!”💭 When you find yourself feeling afraid to put your first offer out there, start that podcast, apply for funding so that you can finally get your artwork shown in a gallery, or whatever your Big Idea is at the moment— try saying to yourself— “this is just the first version.” Some folks say the word “just” should never be used because it has a minimizing effect— but in this case, that’s the point. We WANT to minimize that big scary feeling of a new project because that's what will keep you living in Imposter Syndrome land and you'll never get started. We can't have that. 4 Things I Have Learned In 4 Years Of Marketing
I have learned for 40 years of marketing these 4 reasons are some of the biggest for lack of success or failing to scale. 1. Lack of focus (Doing too many things at once) 2. Lack of clarity (Not knowing what you want to achieve) 3. Lack of accountability (Not having anyone to report to) - Why am I doing this? 4. Lack of systems (Not knowing what to do next) Master these 4 things and you’ll create a blueprint for success.

So young @Graham Waite that makes me, in an average week 4 from 4! 😒 What are your top ideas to overcome these. Sidebar: 4 is unlucky in chinese as the character for death is very similar to that for four. So very propitious!
