@Sidra Malik Masha'Allah, it's amazing that you are skilled in many skills and niches you said that single skills are replaceable, and if you become so much good at one thing by leveraging AI and be a top 1% at a particular skill, then you cannot be replaceable. We should also learn many skills as much as possible, but we should focus on one core skill for being professional and top in it. Also, what service are you planning to sell right now? And what are the client acquisition mediums you have decided for this purpose?

University Education vs Skill Education 🙋‍♀️📚
Lately I’ve been thinking deeply about this, and I want opinions based on real experience, not theory. If the main goal is money, then today there are multiple ways to earn. It’s no longer compulsory to spend 4 years in university, then look for a job, and only then start earning. Skill-based education has completely changed the landscape. ◆ If a skill is 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 ◆ If it’s 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭-𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 ◆ If you actually 𝐞𝐧𝐣𝐨𝐲 doing it ◆ And if it helps you 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐬𝐨𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐫 then choosing skills over a traditional degree makes logical sense. 𝑱𝒐 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒉𝒂𝒊 𝒑𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒌𝒂𝒂𝒎 𝒉𝒊 𝒏𝒂 𝒂𝒂𝒚𝒆, sirf degree ke naam par — that path may not be for everyone. At the same time, I 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 education is useless. But clarity matters more than tradition. ▸ Learning just because society expects it ▸ Or choosing what aligns with your interests and income goals And even if someone chooses university education —studying 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁, only for money, often leads to burnout and confusion later. Aaj ke time mein: ◉ Skills can give speed and freedom ◉ Degrees can give structure and stability But 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁. You've raised one of the most important questions for our generation, and your thinking shows real clarity. You're absolutely right that direction matters more than tradition. Let me add some perspective from what I've observed: The Pakistani education system is fundamentally broken—we're learning content that's 20+ years outdated while Western universities like MIT, Stanford, and Oxford are rapidly evolving their curriculum around emerging technologies and real-world skills. That gap matters. Here's the real issue: If you ask most university students in Pakistan why they're studying, they'll say "to get a degree." Ask why they need a degree? "To get a good job." Ask why they need a good job? "To make money." So if the ultimate goal is money and fulfillment, why are we taking the longest, most outdated path to get there? I'm not saying education is useless—professions like medicine, law, engineering, and architecture absolutely require formal education and degrees. But even there, the quality of education in Pakistan doesn't match international standards. The system has become a rat race: compete in Matric, then FSc, then MDCAT/ECAT/NET, then job applications—and after all that, most people still aren't earning enough to fulfill their dreams. Here's the harsh reality: Even if you have a degree and get a "good job" in Pakistan, if you're not earning in dollars or international currency, you cannot reach the financial potential you deserve. Our economy and PKR value keep you trapped in a cycle where your purchasing power remains limited no matter how hard you work locally. And here's what most people miss: Passion and natural curiosity matter more than chasing the highest-paying niche. Most people ask "where's the most money?" when choosing a skill or career. But the fundamental principle is this: identify what genuinely interests you and what makes you curious. When you're passionate about something, you automatically outperform those just chasing dollars. Excellence creates premium positioning, and premium positioning creates premium income.
