From Silence to Speaking Good
When I was in my teens, I used to talk a lot and I was full of positive energy. With time, things changed. My elder sisters got married, life became quieter, and I started my own career journey. Along the way, there were struggles, pressure, and emotional phases. I once read a line that stayed with me: “Speak good or remain silent.” I chose the silent part. Not because I didn’t have thoughts, but because words started affecting me deeply. Dusron ke alfaaz hurt kartay thay, and I started believing ke words bohot matter kartay hain, so maybe bolna hi behtar nahi. Recently, I realized something. I do have a lot to say. I just kept quitting because I focused only on “remain silent” and forgot the first part: “speak good.” After listening to @Haroon Khalil , it clicked, why not speak good? Good words don’t hurt. Good words heal, motivate, and help others feel seen. So I’m choosing to speak again, but this time, with intention and kindness. If good words can help even one person, then they’re worth saying.
