Tasty Tuesday Pesto Meatballs
Easy Turkey Pesto Meatballs High in lean protein, Picky-eater approved, Delicious hot OR cold (perfect for leftovers!) Here’s how to make them: * 1 lb ground turkey breast (or chicken) * 1 egg * ½ cup panko breadcrumbs * ½ tsp chili flakes * ½ cup grated parmesan * ¼ cup pesto (homemade or store-bought!) * 2 tbsp chopped fresh basil Mix, roll into balls, bake at 400°F for 20 mins. Done. Choose something with plenty of fiber (like whole grain pasta or over some barley, quinoa or rice) to serve with it, and you’ve got a great metabolism-boosting meal in under 30 mins. Protein + Fiber = Metabolic Powerhouse. Protein keeps you full, supports your metabolism, and helps you recover. Fiber helps keep you full, helps support digestion, and balances / stabilizes blood sugars.

Sunday!! The LAST in October 🤯
Hey guys! It’s been a jam packed and fun weekend over here! I hope everyone else has been having a good ones. Yesterday, Wesley and I went running in the parkway, we lost my phone 😭 but someone brought it back to my house. Before the run I prepped my postworkout muffins and shake packs to throw / blend into my shakes for this week (zucchini and sweet potato). I knew I’d be busy today and couldn’t get to it! So glad I did it and it’s done. And today @Jenna Bower and I surprised @Stephanie Ivey at her baby shower!!! Another update: I chose 30 day breakaway but can’t actually follow through on the training with the runs (too dark), so I’m going to make up my own performance academy, running (using the breakaway training where it might work on weekends), and spin schedule from tomorrow through the 11/26 5K! What’s everyone else’s plan for November? Who wants to do the virtual turkey trot or the 5k at the parkway with us?

I’m on week 2 of 25 speed training with Joel. I have to take a couple more weeks off of running due to a small injury 🙄.

Guys… I’ve been feeling pulled to change the name of this community. This is what we started with and had it for at least a year, maybe 2. What are your thoughts and feelings? Should we change it back to the OG??
