Upper 2-week 4
Working my way back through the uppers, lowers and total bodies I didn’t get to through the first 8 weeks. This should give me enough workouts to finish up the month of March! I tacked on a 5 min core workout, walked for about 10 mins, and I actually just carried a case of water from one building to my car then my car inside another building for work and that was honestly ROUGH. My period is making me feel weak right now plus I’m tired from the time change. But I DID it! It feels good to be able to do things that require strength — even when you’re not able to give 100%!!! 💪🏼

Tracking with precision
Sometimes when you are stuck, it’s not always that you’re not doing the things you need to… but maybe it isn’t the right approach or the most precise approach. When I got stuck back before tracking macros, I was tracking! Honestly! But it wasn’t working. I had to get more precise. I had to know my own targets. I needed MORE information. This is what I do now… And no, I’m not the most lean I’ve ever been and that’s not my goal. My goal is strong, fit, happy and with LONG TERM sustainability!!! This approach changed the game for me… it may work for you and it may not. Only you get to know and that happens by trying 💯 I trust you to figure it out! And I’m here to be therefor you as you learn 💞

Chaotic day so far. Had a school delay bc of ice overnight so snuck in my leg workout while the kiddo played. Got her off to school and then just got out for a lunchtime walk. Warmer weather starting tomorrow, can you tell I’m over the cold 😂

I did it!!!
My trainer set me a new programme last week, to do 5 x 40kg sandbag to shoulder ...and make it quick!!! Last week I managed 2 and thought...nope I am done. This week I did it....but oh it was a lot heavier than I thought 😩 but still pretty pleased with myself 🤷🏼‍♀️

End of day check in
It’s been a crazy few days here. I think the sickness is finally leaving the house. Though I have a cough that is lingering and my voice is almost fully back. Sleep has been a bit better but still a few wake ups during the night. He has fought his usual nap time and pushed it later in the day which has thrown us off a bit when trying to keep a routine and schedule. Yesterday he refused his nap that made the afternoon and evening a bit rough but we managed. Today went well. Little guy slept in till after 6am and the hubby took him out this morning and let me sleep in. With him sleeping later meant his nap time was later and he had a good nap but that pushed his bed time. Here’s hoping this time change(spring forward - losing an hour) doesn’t make things to crazy and different.
