New Here!
Hey folks! Living in Boston, USA. Excited to build community with other facilitators. I feel like there aren't many people who see the world the way a facilitator does and must admit that I carry some pride in calling myself a facilitator. I love what I do and sometimes wonder if there is some spiritual aspect to the work holding space. I like noticing things, especially when they help me recognizes something I though I knew but took for granted. I find a great deal of joy in those small moments. Thanks for reading!

📍Where is everyone from?📍
Hello Facilitators👋 I'm really curious about where everyone is from. I'd love to make this a mega post where we can see how diverse the Facilitator Club community is. Who knows, you might find a lot more people in your area than you thought! Once I have lots of answers on this post, I want to make a nice graph!

Searching for Facilitation Learning Opportunities in Munich, Germany
Hello everyone🤗 I recently completed AJ&Smart's Facilitation Fundamentals training🥳 Now, it's time for practice. Therefore, I'm looking for opportunities in Munich, Germany, where I can learn by experiencing. I would be very happy if there are facilitators whom I can learn from in-person🙏 We moved Munich two years ago due to my wife's new job. After one and a half years of full-time parenting👨‍🍼, I'm trying to change my career as a former human resources professional. Currently, I'm taking Fundamentals of Design Thinking course from IDEOU and I am working part-time as a professional coach and as a barista in a cafe. Your help, suggestions, and advice would be very appreciated. Looking forward to connecting. (https://www.linkedin.com/in/necatidemirtas/)

Critiquing, learning and applying
Does anyone have a good idea for where a newb could go to see actual workshops being run so they could sit and critique the skills and performance of other facilitators in order to better apply what they're seeing to their own facilitations? I've been talking about this with a friend and we keep coming back to the old idea of the football team critiquing footage of the game. Any leads or other suggestions for further practice that don't require more than "sweat equity" would be greatly appreciated.

@Tim Knight hello, I don't have any suggestions at the moment, but I'm definitely interested in exploring this topic further! It would be insightful to hear suggestions and experiences from others who have sought out opportunities to observe and critique workshops in order to improve their facilitation skills. If anyone has any recommendations or insights to share on this subject, I would greatly appreciate it.
