From contact form to a coffee date
So here is a copy of my email conversation with a parenting coach. I initially found that she was running Facebook ads directly to a free masterclass, so I knew she would be in the market for some help as her coaching services start at $3.5k. The first message was sent through her contact form, and she replied within five minutes. I do not normally respond in the way I have, but you'll notice her first response was detailed, so I wanted to reflect back her 'tone'. Once she booked in a coffee date, I replied and thanked her, and her response was, "Please let me know your intention in connecting." 🤭 I was a bit surprised, however, she had checked me out on LinkedIn, and so I believe this response comes from her seeing I'm one of those pesky marketer types, or, she had forgotten what the call was about. My response: "I think I mentioned this in a previous with regards to helping you spread the word" (that good 'ol British charm) Her response: "Thanks, Andrew. Talking will be best. Look forward to Friday" Anyway, I hope that helps as you can see how the cold/warm-ish outreach led to a coffee date (later today 4.30 p.m.)
