My understanding of reality continues to crumble

Almost every time I try something new, I discover how utterly full of shit I've been.

In some ways this feels insignificant and juvenile to share... but it feels HUGE to me.

Full transparency -- I sit alone in my office and cry almost every time I blow the lid off one of Little Jim's bullshit stories of how unimportant he is.

So, if you're under any illusion that I have my shit together, sorry to burst your bubble. 🤣

Anyway, back to the real point here.

's example of messaging people, I sent a cold DM to someone today.

See the pic of what I sent and her response.

The big reason I'm sharing this is because I have spent way too many years [decades] living under the assumption that people don't really WANT what I have.

And every time I get a response like this in confirms that WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE want results they feel are impossible, or wrong, or stupid...

And it feels vulnerable as fuck for them to reach out for help.

I'm starting to believe they are literally praying for us to reach out because it's so scary for them to go first.
